Hey Pixel Dan, It's great to see your enthusiasm when you show us the stuff that you've collected through every comic con or toy fair that you go to. I feel the same way when I send for new action figures to add to my personal collection. You're the go to guy when it's time to review what items I'm gonna buy. Thank you so much Pixel Dan!! Keep the videos coming.
These are my favorite videos that you do, Dan. There are so many memories for me in these. Those Karate Kid figures!!! I had quite a few of them. I think each figure came with blocks of ice or bricks or pieces of wood to chop with their action features.
I've never owned the Monstroid either, A few years ago I nearly completed all the figures from he-man and she-ra and some of the vehicles, and I picked up the Crystal Castle playset mib at a flea market and also the Fright zone from ebay. I'm still missing about 9 of the MOTUC Figures, but as soon as I get caught up I'll be going back to the vintage line and trying to get everything else. I have to say, their is nothing like the vintage line, It's the greatest.
It was great meeting you at the show. Glad you like the artwork and thanks for the shout out! You deff didnt have to do that. Keep up the great reviews Pixel Dan.
+PixelDan Eardley (The Pixel Dan Channel) You're very welcome. Thank you for putting out such great content on reviews of vintage and new toys! You da man Pixel Dan!
Shark Attack, Turtles, and Mighty Max?! Man, what a nostalgia trip for me. I never had any of those Turtles figures as a kid even though I owned tons of them. I did have that McDonald's Mighty Max though. Great video.
I have the Shredder wind-up figure, he is awesome. I never liked the standard Shredder as a kid but i had so much fun with that one with the spinning sawblades. I also have the crawling Splinter but it's a bit weird looking.
Awesome pickup with the Monstroid and box! Goldust had a match at WM12 the guy is still wrestling regularly today, he might be like Ric Flair and wrestle for 30 plus years.
That first green Mighty Max playset also lights up. Coincidently I have found both those larger sets at Goodwill and I have found four of the same little compact playset that looks like a snake head at Goodwill also.
mighty Max there were three sizes for the sets. small, medium, and large like the dragon and skull lava island. the carded boxes gave a mini comic story on the back with each piece.
I definitely want that Monstroid. I know that CLASSICS will never remake this, so I would love to find one to incorporate with my display, as well as a Fright Zone.
I love mighty max!!! I've been finding them more lately but still none of the larger sets. mostly just heads and the scorpion, as well as the lava Lord set. wish I had the ones you got!
the big guy with the sword is norman (hey tends to say he eat anything for breakfast) and the small fowl is virgil voice by the late tony J and main villain is skull master
great toy haul dan. ive got few karate kid figures. monstroid never seen it. I use to have the vintage line. now ive got few classics and filmation heman.
Dan, you've GOT to check out / rewatch the Mighty Max cartoon; it's one of the best of all time. The episodes are on youtube. It's one of the few cartoons I can think of where main characters actually die in the show. It's never gotten an official DVD release so the episodes aren't always in the best quality but the stories for each are so worth it.
That wacky rocksteady was always my favorite.. I wish those variants didnt have action features because they broke a lot. The sculpts were awesome though
No way! You got the Mighty Max Dragon Island set!? That one one of my all time favorite toys as a kid! Looks like you're missing the little monster guy who makes up the dragon's nasal horn though.
MasterSeijin it's like Gomora, with horn, awesome, W/O horn, awesome, but....it kind of feels out of place if you have seen Gomora with his horn more often
***** I wasn't making a big deal out of it. Just pointing out that some parts are missing. But hey, the dragon was still in there! That counts for a lot!
Great video, Dan! Love that you got hold of a Monstroid, I still dearly miss my old one and plan to get another one day. Regarding those Galaxy Fighters figures, if you have enough interest in them, I highly recommend Phelous' Bootleg Zones videos here on YT, he's done about 6 or 7 eps devoted to Galaxy Warriors, Fighters and such that are highly informative and entertaining.
Goddamn! I want a Monstroid now! I'm not even a huge MOTU fan! How much did the guy have it listed for? I'm going to have to keep an eye out for it at expos and toy shows now!
I have that McDonald's one too!!! my parents never bought them for me as a kid, but we had them in my kindergarten class. I did get that McDonald's one though.
Love these haul vids from you ! :D. oehhh !! MM :D. Love it. Have a whole box of MM playsets. Unfortunately no room to display it yet. Hope some day ;)
I still have my Bebob mutated figure also. Dan what do you think of the Hot Toys collection figures? I've seen some that are awesome but I still enjoy vintage and toy biz figures also.
I know you've been super busy over the last month (moderating Powercon panels, etc) but is there any chance of getting the walkthrough video that your friend shot at this Toy Show any time soon? I'm from Australia so we don't get HUGE toy shows here, so I am really keen to see how crazy a larger show is :)
what did you think about the 1,200 wonder bread he man figure that was for sale in that afa booth. it was really graded by afa? how could afa prove it was a mail In? or did they just print what they think it is.
you want to know about Galaxy Warriors? talk to Phelous, he's got an entire series on the Bootleg Zones about them, and remember, there's no bigger loser in Planet Ferror than Baltard *BUT BALTAAAAAAARD!!!* Quit it Baltard *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW*
Seuco is actually another name for the company Sungold who released Galaxy Warriors/Fighters. This particular MOTU knock off is a never ending black hole of spin-offs and information. Check out Phelous' channel, he'll tell you all about it.
I've recently been looking for board games I can play with my daughter (turning 4 this summer). I've wanted to buy a few new ones but it's hard to justify the $20+ on a game she might not even want to play with me. Hoping I come across some this summer yard saling she might like
Definitely give it a shot! My wife and I have picked up classic versions of Hungry Hungry Hippos, Candy Land, Mouse Trap, and a few others between garage sales and toy shows and have never spent more than $5 per game. :-)
+obi666, thank you for the pep talk. It is good to kniw there is a whole subculture that understands what its like to be whi i am. And coming from the subcultures of skateboarding/punk rock fan, Subculture has always been there for me
The best part is playing with the toys. Never gets old watching folks play with toys!

Watching you quote Shredder and Tokka from Secret of the Ooze absolutely cracks me up!
These are my favorite videos that you do, Dan. There are so many memories for me in these. Those Karate Kid figures!!! I had quite a few of them. I think each figure came with blocks of ice or bricks or pieces of wood to chop with their action features.

As always, fantastic haul!
The names on those Mighty Max characters are Norman was the warrior guy with the shoulder pauldron and the bird was Virgil. Great toy scores.
I wish I still had my Monsteroid. He was great. I loved his box art work. I remember getting him for Christmas from my Mum and Dad.
that last one is awesome .can't wait to see the video of the con.
Always love the hauls vids! Thanks Dan
Awesome finds. Didn't know Toka had a mutations figure.
Amazing as always Dan!
The thing I like the most with that Monstroid box is the picture of the kid. Hilarious
I have the Shredder wind-up figure, he is awesome. I never liked the standard Shredder as a kid but i had so much fun with that one with the spinning sawblades. I also have the crawling Splinter but it's a bit weird looking.

I always look forward to these video.
Thanks!

I got the MOTU MONSTROID & SPYDOR! & I really hope mattel makes MOTUC style articulated figures of these guys soon!
It was nice meeting you there (from the guy wearing the Retroblasting shirt).
mighty Max
there were three sizes for the sets. small, medium, and large like the dragon and skull lava island.
the carded boxes gave a mini comic story on the back with each piece.
so cool i had the two mutated ones. Still sometimes looking for the rocksteady one. =)
I definitely want that Monstroid. I know that CLASSICS will never remake this, so I would love to find one to incorporate with my display, as well as a Fright Zone.

Norman! Thank you! And I knew there was a Virgil in there somewhere!
Nice stuff there! Always a pleasure running into you. -Junior

I got a complete Stalker Predator last year for my birthday!!
You make things fun!
That wacky rocksteady was always my favorite.. I wish those variants didnt have action features because they broke a lot. The sculpts were awesome though
No way! You got the Mighty Max Dragon Island set!? That one one of my all time favorite toys as a kid! Looks like you're missing the little monster guy who makes up the dragon's nasal horn though.
eitherways, you must admit it looks good, with, or without the horn, so let's just say it's an optional piece
***** Oh, totally!
MasterSeijin I agreed with you, I just wanted to make the comparison
I used to and still do have loads of these figures
I want to give you a tip with the Karate Kid figures. if you put them in Peroxide Water the yellowish color disappeared completely and looks like new.
It was great meeting you. Wish we could have hung out. Maybe next time. :) looks like you were successful in your hunt.
You'll be happy to know that both the Clan Leader and Night Stalker that you have there will be some of the next Preds NECA makes.
Yep! Stoked!
Great video, Dan! Love that you got hold of a Monstroid, I still dearly miss my old one and plan to get another one day. I use to have that Mutating Rocksteady as a kid.
Darn!! I missed another toy show , although I did get the TMNT Metal Mutants 5 pack from target for $14.98. I love Mighty Max. Great stuff you found!
HAve you ever picked up the clear kenner mail-away predator with the vac metal accessories? Such a great figure!
