The Spanish really do cities well. Malaga looks lovely. I’m hoping to run the Half Marathon there in December. Valencia, Seville and Madrid are outstanding. Enjoyed the video, well done on a pb. Good luck for London. 👍
Awesome a PB is a PB well done! And great feeling to get a PB with some work ons. Looks lovely over there, one for the list. Even doing HYROX training amongst your rowing is adding strengthm running and other movements that can only benefit overall condition, core etc.. See you in London, my only race of the season but delighted to be going after cancelling 2 events due to illness.
Between the Hot for Teacher T shirt in the intro and the VH shorts, I think this should me more of an homage to them than HYROX!! It's not an easy race, that's for sure. And there's a lot of room to 'hide' and take it easier if you don't press on, which just drips time away. That's the biggest challenge, keeping at near maximum for the whole race!!
I thought you had knocked Hyrox on the head after the last competition did you no favours re injury? Personally I’m very sceptical of the big money making machine it has become 🤔
My legs really don't enjoy the running (which is why I'm only 5mins per Km) but I do enjoy the race itself - and more importantly, it's keeping me inspired while I wait to turn 50 and return to Indoor Rowing competitions!
Lets be honest, any type of tourism in UK is a joke. What you get for what you pay is ridiculous. I know of friends that fly from where they each live in uk to meet up in Malaga as its cheaper to fly there than to take a train to or fly to London to meet. And you have beautiful culture, proper food and fantastic weather. No brainer.
It was cheaper to stay 2 nights in a lovely Spanish hotel than it will be for 1 night in a Holiday Inn Express in London. And when they brought me my bill for lunch - a big burger and two (celebratory) beers, and it was only 15 Euros, I thought they'd made a mistake!!
Why take staycations, when you can often take racecations for the same price!
RowAlong Treasure Hunt NIce job!
Ah brilliant video and well done!! Lovely to see Malaga again, LOVED it last year. Defo need to go again next time. Racecations are the way forward!
Congrats on the PB. I just learned about Hyrox thru your videos. I don’t think it has made it to Canada yet.
Thankyou. And it's coming! 5th October: hyrox.com/event/hyrox-toronto-season-24-25/

That looks really tough good job 👍
Thankyou. I’m doing it all again this weekend too!!! (In London)
Nice to see what the Hyrox is (I didn’t know). Well done your time!!
Thankyou! HYROX is growing for a good reason. For those who just want a new way to be fit, or a new way to compete, it's all there for everyone

Thanks. And yes - it’ll be great to see you down there. I just hope I don’t have any flight panic for coming home that night!
@@rowalong Same I didn't realise open men was Sunday, hoping my wave is early enough to get done and catch a flight home!
@mikecaseyoshea3594 I’m hopefully they’ll allow a change in that kind of instance… But hopefully neither of us will need to go down that route!
Loving the Van Halen shorts - Hyrox looks really tough though.....

Great vid. Loved Malaga. Have done it twice now. Great venue. Sled weights were the German flag I think, not Spanish 🤣
Haha, yeah - with the black plates at the bottom, you're right!!

It was really well ran. The pro men should not be competing at the same time as the normal women’s race though that has to change
Crikey, I didn’t realise that had happened!! That would have been bedlam!
@@rowalong It was!

The indoor Versa challenge would be worth looking at - a lot to take on rather than smashing out a 2K
definitely if there’s an element of travel involved. Going all the way to Boston to row for 6:41 just seems daft now!!
