- After a long day of metal detecting in our Gold mine I found the biggest Gold nuggets I have ever seen in our underground Drift gold mine. We are using a Minelab Gold Monster 1000 to check the floors of the mine and I can't believe what we found while digging the tunnel.

It is a tiring and enjoyable work that is worth the effort. Digging, collecting, extracting, grinding and washing. When you see the beautiful yellow, you forget all the effort.Good job Jeff
Happy to see another mine video. I love them. You inspired me to dig mine 2 years back, now you are inspiring me to get on it again. I am on the other side of the mountain near Placerville. Mine little over 30ft deep ay the moment. When i stopped for the season I wanted to see it last through a winter and see if we had water show up. So far so good and its very stable. Next phase is getting to about 36ft. Then the Horizontal digging starts.
