Now flowing 16 hour fasting and reduced carbo intake.6kg lost ,and stopped taking insulin 10 +10 and glemipride and metfomin 1.my problem is weight not going down ,it is static after 6kg loss. Hi Dr Jacob… this is RV Tiru from Malaysia… I have been diagnosed with high glucose levels in my body. 9.8 Hbac1.. and my body weight at 103kg after strict diet and fasting I bring down My Hbac1 within 1 n half months it’s dropped to 6.8. But I still continue my current diet & bring down weight at 80Kg from May to August.

My orthopedic doctor recommended swimming for relief. While swimming, I usually take glucose water or sweet lemon juice. However, I’m concerned that the sugar in these drinks might contribute to further weight gain. Could you please suggest an alternative that would provide energy without adding to my weight? Good interview doctor. I had a hba1c of 9.1. 35 year old male. 185cm and 82.5 kg. It came as a rude shock to me. Then i started a lchf diet with cardio in morning and weight training at night. Was eating around 1400 to 1600 calories per day and now my hba1c after 40 days has come down to 7.1. my weight has come down to 78. My diabetic remission journey continues.
Also what about set point weight with relation to weight loss and how do people avoid their body resetting the fat deposition to a higher amount and resulting in higher weight as a response to fasting
Cut down carbs thats it insulin resistance vanish within a year or so take energy sources from proteins and fats eat less than 100gm of carbs mrg: black cofee, coconut pieces, nuts, water. afternoon : 100gms of rice with 200 gms of veggies along with protein like chicken, fish, soya, paneer evening: chenna, black chenna sundal dinner( before 7) have no 2 chapathi along with soya paneer or chickem gravy in generous amount thats it you wont crave at night by following this diet
