Since your recomnendation I not only created a great working running schedule for me, but I'm using chat gpt daily for fuel recommendations, alternative workouts, incline paces and injury prevention. I usually do suggestions and ask chat gpt, what it thinks about it. With that kind of open questions I get a lot of useful input plus it remembers things like past injuries, food my guts can't handle etc.
You created the plan and told it your plan. It just typed it up and formatted it for you. Only someone who knows how to write a plan would have gotten this far.
Agreed most of the input was just reiterated. But I was impressed with the gaps it filled, such as progressions in RPE, repeats and distance for intervals, reminders about nutrition and mental preparation. It also provided guidance such as ‘reach 20k by week 10’ which didn’t make it in the video. Thanks for watching and your comments. Keep me accountable for any future video 👏 😅
Fascinating, thanks Brodie!!! I'm not one for plans myself, except for the "Run Happy" plan😄AND devouring Run Smarter podcasts, which has served me brilliantly well... so far!! Now I'm getting to the level where I believe I need a real plan to keep improving effectively!! Btw, dunno if you remember Brodie, I joined my local running club last September and was shocked SHOCKED to discover that NONE of them did any kind of strength training!!! Well, it seems that the volumes I manage completely injury free is indeed having an influence... i'm thrilled that quite a few of them are coming around!!!😆😁 Enjoy your autumn running, it's stunning full-on spring here in France - just magical!!🌷🥀🌳🌼🏃♀🌼🌳🥀🌷
Your initial statement is that the ChatGPT model can calculate these points off of some parameters given. You are basically telling it what to do, which can easily be done with a normal excel sheet.

Hey man, absolutely love your work. It has helped me a lot in understanding why I keep getting setbacks and then reinjured. I’m now on track to recovery without setbacks. I shared your podcast with my uncle who has had a life changing accident, but he said it is locked to only Spotify and Apple Podcast. Any other way to find your podcast?
Interesting it provides cross training, but nothing about strength training. I think that is where I prefer the human touch to dial in one's needs and additional input along the way.
Excellent topic and well-presented! Thank you for your great work, Brodie!
You’re welcome. Glad you enjoyed 👏

Love this! I've been playing around with some ultramarathon training plans and find it super interesting! Thanks for sharing!!
Entered my first ultra and might give it a try to see what it comes back with.
Thanks for watching Whitney 😍 good luck with the ultra training

You have become a run smarter ambassador! 😍😍😍
Thanks for sharing Brodie … with your practice and speaking it helps to be able to fill in the gaps to create a plan
Thanks Donna 😍

Gold. Thank you!
You’re welcome Tom 😇
Could you also have chatgpt implement strenghth training in the marathon plan?
Of course. I was considering it in the video but wanted to keep it concise
super cool video! thanks

Agreed but I could have always promoted the inclusion of strength training
@@RunSmarterwithBrodieSharpe perhaps I will try this for diet/carb loading and other running tips prior to really long runs and races.
Very cool!
Thanks Katie
So I know a lot of good info is in videos. So I wonder how chatgpt loads video info.
Im going to test chatgpt as well…
Long runs over 35k are not beneficial. Not over 32k
👍👍🏽
