    I like how he said these are the ingredients not the recipe. A lot of people just assume cause they saw the exercises they know how many sets or reps to do based off their goal and end up coming short of their goal

    I'm a truck driver and have been looking for something like this. I just wish there were more videos for people who live a nomadic lifestyle with limited access to gyms and lots of work out equipment.

      Look into resistance bands, you can anchor them to essentially any door or even loop them around parts of your rig

    I love barbell complexes. Gives me a good bang for my money and time. I mostly do them when I'm pressed with time at the gym or just as part of my weekly schedule. Great video. Keep up mate!

    Yeah every since covid I've been doing 100% cardio (down over 60lbs, 20 to go). This kicked my rear. Def time to kick the bar back into the rotation.

    If you like Bear complex from CrossFit try "clusters" as well. Go from a squat clean into a thruster and repeat starting each rep with barbell touching the ground.

    Will be testing the Bear complex for sure, looks like a killer exercise. Have only recently returned to training after a fractured foot. I look for exercises that mean I can do 4-6 exercises before Putting the bar down. Will start light and test it for sure.

    The info is a good base, but I'll mention that that's a standard deadlift, not a Romanian, and a strict press is from the front, the example at the beginning of the video was a "rear overhead press".

    Does the overhead press have to be the same weight as the squat on the elephant complex? Mike you are a beast. Not sure I could do that.

      The whole point is not to put the bar down until the complex is complete. So just scale your squat weight with the weight for shoulder presses. Trust me, you get the burn

      @@sidology1.0 common man that's absolutely terrible advice. A high intensity allnover body workout shouldn't be done more than once a week if your a total beginner, twice a week tops. You don't grow when your lifting you grow when your resting!

    I usually run long distance, if I do this apart from being sore is this going to slow down my long distance capacity?

      Erick Socgfack If you put a focus on lifting it might slow down your capacity but implementing this in a few times a week could benefit your running. I run and do a few complexes every week and it helps my muscle endurance during runs.

    Work on that shoulder and lat mobility. So you can rest the barbell on your shoulders during those thrusters. Great complexes though.
