use aTube catcher and get it over with, and for sound editing you can use Cooledit Pro, which is the old version of the Adobe Audition... either one works great, and for video if you dont need much then Windows Movie Maker, i tried using Sony Vegas and it gave me rendering issues, it wouldnt render

what if you want to download videos and not mp3's? i'll use xVST - can download videos (also music) from youtube and other websites (porn sites included, but i do not use them :P) btw: if you're installing youtube to mp3(-converter) then it will install a lot of shit like toolbars -.-

Youre not installing anything fool, you just put in a link...It makes a temporary mp3 file that u can download. Besides who downloads videos anymore. Streaming ftw hurr durr.
