I think you can reflash the oem ecu, but the vortex gives more options. i especially like the fuel trims dials and the 10 map selection dial that allows the user to try different things without connecting to a laptop. i tend to test on the dyno and then fine tune the maps at a track as we have an onboard lambda sensor and can review data through an aim solo 2dl connected to the vortex.
Very informative video, as always! I guess the Vortex ECU is the only way to tune the fuel injection map, rather than flashing the stock ECU?

Hi,
What gear ratio you use/recommend on short tracks?
Thanks,
Does the vortex ECU also give you the possibility to alter the sensitivity of the OEM Quickshifter? Or only the cutting times?
You can adjust both and set the sensor to each gear exactly
What kind of fuel was the stock hp rating on and the exhaust and vortex tune on
98 repsol pump fuel in spain. it is a very good fuel.
Does the holes on the air box difference on dyno?
No difference on the dyno. But i do it so i am sure on the track we always have air even if the riders leg is close
The best ECM by leaps & bounds is a GET that vortex is a dinosaur......pot screws died 30 years ago!
