    Good video. I have 6 SpyPoint Cams and the best I can say is they sort of work but even yesterday one stopped working completely. They simply stop communicating with the app which makes me not want to put anymore out. Formatting card, changed card, updated firmware….same issue. I’ve had battery issues too so going to try a different brand moving forward. It’s a bummer because the video and picture are good…when it works

    I just bought one of these cameras before watching this video. Got it into the field and had the same issues. Today, I went out and replaced the MicroSD card with a new one. Originally used a new 128 GB and formatted it with the button on the camera=no pics transmitted. Replaced it with a 32GB card and did NOT format it with the camera button (or at all). Installed the new card and immediately started getting pictures in my app. Got home and my laptop says first card was corrupted. My guess is the Spypoint FLEX camera is not correctly formatting the card for use.

      It says not to use greater than 32 gb SD card, so makes sense

    I have 4 link dark, 3 link micros and 4 Flex cameras .....Never had any issues with any of my cameras, some of my link dark are 5 years old...All my cameras are used for security purposes indoors and out, in Canada. They have had the call back since the company started...

    Great video. Wish I had seen this before I bought my Flex S. It's a piece of garbage! You said EXACTLY what went wrong with my camera. Super annoyed!

    I have had spypoint cameras in past few years and had good success with those. I bought one of the flex cameras couple months ago and from start up it would not get a signal althought all my other reveal cameras connect in same location. I finally got in touch with customer service and they first told me it needed updated but then stated it was up to date. They tried to get me to connect a few times and never would so they said to send it back and they would send me a new one. I received the new one and put it out last week. When I first put on the tree it sent a test picture so I put on tree and tried to get it to send a picture but it would not so I took off tree and it immediately send a few pictures. Put back on tree and left and it has not send another picture since. These cameras are junk!

    I had the same experience. I now believe the battery tray connections are the entire problem. I cleaned them with rubbing alcohol and so far it's working. Time will tell.

    I have a LINK-MICRO-S-LTE-V. I updated the firmware once. been working fine for almost a year now. The little solar panel keeps the battery at 100%. I have yet to see it below 100. I also have two LINK-MICRO-LTE's. Both work perfectly. I guess I'm just lucky I guess. I did put both on an external panel. I don't have to violate my food plots at all.

    I went through 6 of the LM2's and couldn't get any of them to work brand new out of the box so I demanded them to send me 2 flex free of charge, got the 2 flex and so far they don't work yet!

    My flex camera isn't picking up AT&T ,the tower is 1 mile away,it's picking up Verisen 15 miles away and hardly ever sends pics.there are no help when I get on live chat.

    I got the Flex S, works great when im there with it but as soon as i drive 100 yards away it doesnt want to work. Solar worked good for 1 day; added brand new AA batteries on install they dropped to 83% battery life in 20 minutes.
    Remote updating settings freezes the cam, instant photo/video does the same. Counting my losses and getting something different. Wish I would have came across this video before buying it.

    2 CELL-LINK's, 8 LINK-MICRO-LTE's, 1 LINK-MICRO-S-LTE and 5 Flex cameras and all are running great.

    We had similar issues right out of the box. Then we noticed that the memory card requirement is a 2 to 512 GB class 10 ultra-high speed new micro SD card -- the one we were trying to use was not a class 10. Just ordered a class 10 card. Hoping that is the issue.

    Thank you very much I have 3 spypoint for 2 years and only one work great I did everything they show to do and still done work so I’m done having there cameras now I have 5 tacticam I buy use from my bestfriend and they work great!!!!!! Very happy with it!!! Spypoint it’s sucks

    Guys,
    I have two (2) Link-S series trail cams and they work great. However, if you need to call Customer Service expect to wait at least 1 hour. The way around this is call when they first open. Remember the customer services center is in the Eastern Time Zone.

    Mine has been going for 2 weeks now all good so far jus put a solar charger on it today seems to be fine still pic quality is about the same as the micro link no big upgrade there my links have been going for over a year no issue let's hope the flex follows suite

    They pack them together and sell them for a discount because they know one has a defect. Usually one will work fine however your supposed to get 100 Pic a month. Normally it never false triggers but all of a sudden it will just start blasting nothing shot till 100 to try and get you to buy more. I also notice it will often look like things in the image that go way over time. If you screen shot these images and compare them to whats on the card you will see it but when you look at that picture again from there app later it also will not look like the screen shot you took.

    On my flex where the micro card goes, next to it is a sticker that says go not remove, in the picture it looks like there should be a bigger slot for a card to go in

    So it’s been a year since you made this video have you had any better luck?
    I have 6 SPYPOINT flex’s two of them or the Flex S’s and the others are the Flex G-36
    I agree I have had several of the G-36’s go from 100% battery to 0% and back to 99% in 48 hours
    Last week I had my first G-36 that died completely
    I did call them today and after I ma de them a video of it not working they told me they would ship me a new one
    We will see how that goes

    Im still running the old Spy Point cell cameras and only 1 out of the 3 that I own is working. Im taking it out of service as soon as my month is up because come to find out they have been taking the payment out of my bank account automatically even though I set the setting to the NO position for auto payment and monthly renewal. I was charged $15.15 for June and July when I wasn't using the cameras and didn't even know until my bank called and made sure they were authorized payments due to the fact they were paid to a Canadian company. The other thing that I just found out is that Spy Point has been charging me $15.15 instead of $15.00 every month and I didn't realize it until the bank mentioned the payment amount when they called me. I called them and they denied it even though I have it printed out from my bank where they have done it for the past 7 months. Im done with Spy Point mainly because of their service and customer service. Im doing what everyone has told me to do for the past year. Im switching to Tactacam’s REVEAL. I know this is a long comment, but it gave me a chance to vent lol

    I got 2 flexs have had them out 1 month great cams for me so far only problem i had and still have is i bought 2 lit 22 fully charged 1 day that night says 0 then the next day 95 then later that day ill get a text saying its low ...i put energizer max in no problems so the lit 22 are garbage without solar panels

    I have several SpyPoint trail cameras and my SP-Flex has been running nearly a year with NO Problems. I will be buying another Flex when the solar version comes out this summer. I have called SpyPoint customer support a couple of times and received very good service. I find this video suspect.

      I’m having issues with my 2 flex’s. They both worked great until I had to change the batteries after a couple months. Now they work for about 3 days then stop sending photos and drain the batteries.

      I have problems with mine constantly and their firmware update just wrecked one of them. I find you suspect because these cameras are junk

    I have the same issue with my cameras.. and I found out that the battery tray are garbage.. the made by different carrier and I found out if I use a external power source they work great so fat..which is BS ..but it's still wrong to sell cameras with quality control.. on the other hand all there other cameras work amazing.. with good signal..

    Hey guys I know the feeling! I have about a dozen of the Link Micro lite s cameras, the last three have not worked, they are sending me a flex s. I will not buy any more of these! Most of the SPYPOINT reps are French and I can’t understand the language.

    Dude I just got mine going again. I sent a few test pics and it seemed ok. I put new batteries in and it showed 100%. Than I get home. 5 hours south. I got a pic to my phone. I was very exited! And now it says 0% batteries and I haven’t got any pics since. This camera is crap

      Mine drops to 67% after 6 days and quits working at around 60% My only guess is my signal is only 50% and eats up batteries trying to stay connected. Worried about battery consumption.

    My flex died after 3 weeks. They are junk. I have 3 of the mini solar ones and they work great as long as you keep the software updated.

    Bought the 2 pack of G-36. Both are junk! Might take pictures OR not. Won't transmit photos at all. Customer service is a joke that's assuming you can finally get thru!
    So far the regular Flex is working.

    Had Flex for past 2 yrs no problem with cameras no problem with transmission plan had question contacted cust service left call back # they response quickly.

    Spypoints are too unreliable. 4 years ago i bought 2 and both were replaced 3 times under warranty. Thats 8 cameras that failed!! Finally just asked for a refund. No more for me!!! Good video. Thanks for exposing the poor qualities of this product.

    I had 2 spypoints, both gone now. They work till they don't. When I called- long wait time- person on the phone was reading from a script- admitted to having ever even seen a trail camera.

    I have a spypoint flex and no problems what so ever, i called customer service got in touchwith them in 5 min I was talking to a tech this was for upgrading to the unlimited photo plan, i had no problem my techs name was Misty up in Canada. No issues.

      So far great!!! Stefan has had no issues.. I had one camera go down.. I was on hold for a few minutes and I am going to pull it to send it in. They are great!

    I'm having the same issues....I'm on my second camera now, and it's not sending pics, not to mention, I haven't been able to end the subscription on the first camera....customer service is non existence....trash camera, trash customer service!

    And there new solar panel I got for it 149 bucks when I got it didn’t work and they said there’s no refund on it and after 2 hrs on phone they said they would send another one but that was 3 weeks ago and haven’t gotten an update on anything

    I have one that takes a pic at every scheduled check in and sends it at the next check in. Another one does that sporadically. Yet another one starts taking pix at scheduled check in and doesn’t stop unless I set the delay to 1 hr.
    So, that one I have to set for scheduled uploads only and no instant uploads.
    Then there’s a 4th camera that won’t upload on a schedule because it uploads at every trigger although I have even set it to comunícate once a day.
    I have 2 more that seem to work the way they’re supposed to

      They are crazy little cameras!! We just switched to tacticam… took them 6 min to answer the phone and I talked to a guy who actually hunts. So far so good

    Our old spypoint stopped sending pictures then after about 2 weeks it sent all the pictures in one day.

    Apparently your video camera also has issues... focus issues. Come on guys. That said, SPYPOINTS customer service is about the worst on the planet.

      Terrible company behind the scenes. I bought my first camera in 2016. My camera was stolen. And spypoint would not help me locate the camera. Even though they had exact gps location. I then bought two more cameras in 2018. I didn’t set them up until 2022. And realized the issue. Both arrived with bad barcodes and did not work. Spypoint then wanted proof of purchase from two years ago. And would not replace or fix the issue. Wasted money. They are not a US company. They are a European company that does not care.

    Stealth cam sucks too. All of them. Call customer service and no refund on plan. Hasn't worked and 6hrs on hold and that updated thing Stealth cam is EXACTLY THE SAME!!!

    Our flex is on a 12v solar system. Goes to 0% every night. Won't read the 512 gb card it says it will use. This is the reason I buy them at walmart. Keep the box. I have returned and returned them

      I’ve had issues with my flex! I just bought the Tactacam Reveal gen 2.0 and the quality is way better!
      Plus the monthly/annual plans are slightly cheaper.

    I’ve got several spy points baught up over the last two years. If they get stolen or stop working. I will replace with another brand.

      I’ve had a flex out for about a month. It has been working good but eats up batteries. I’ve had it on a solar panel for a few weeks. It stopped sending today. I went and reset it. It seems to be fixed for now. I have had decent luck out of the micros with good battery performance if they are set to send pictures once per day.

    Bought a solar spypoint in specs sounded great. Man fully charged lasted nothing. Wasn't self sufficient. Just a waste of time money and emotions. A tip to everyone. Just throw them away. Get a Reolink GO PT man thats quality and big established company. Good luck to everyone hunting season.

    SPYPOINT off shored technical support to India. Communications is a challenge, firmware updates are often far to often and have (1) Flex and (2) standard cameras. When these work they work well, when you are out it is a hard out needing to deal with India Technical Support, which is challenging, hard and frustrating.

    I concur. Have 2 flexs and their firmware update just wrecked one. Must of lost signal or power while updating and is now stuck like it's permanently buffering. Tried 3 cards and downloading from their site and nothing works. Also noticed their user manual is different than what you can actually do from the app or site. Says I can update or reset from the app or site in the manual but those things don't exist in the app or website. Have other spypoint cams and they hardly ever transmit photos and have to constantly go and check on them.

    I have 2 bran new G-36 bought as a pair . one works and one doesn’t. Needless to say I’m pissed… I will be sending both back. And going with Tactacams , I will never buy another spypoint product.

    Yeah ,I don't no guys .I've got 4 and they all have no issues..... work awesome auto update works perfectly....when I use them allso with my 12v power source there out tell December andstill have great battery life........hard to believe, worse camera that I've ever had bad experience was the cuddie backs... and wild game innovation, browning aren't that good either....I've worked with them all over the years stealth bushnell...and the spy point have hands down been the best ...Lt lites to no issues... just saying ...

      I have 2 flex and 3 micros. Only 1 of the old micro ones works decent and their update wrecked one of the flexs when it must of lost signal or power while updating. Hate these things

    My buddy’s flex works great my boss flex not that great but they all have this issues I have Spartan and one camera seems to have more issues then my other but knock on wood my links work better then my Spartans they was 400 each

      @@DirtNapBros not sure it worked great for couple years then it stop sending my update photos then one day it would then stop so the camera was 4 hrs away so when I had time to go to it I checked the camera and it was taking pictures but not sending them and the camera been in the same spot for 2 years so the customer service said they needed me to get the camera so I did then I did what they told me to do so gunna put it back out and see if that fixed the issue

    Eight brand new Energizer Ultimate Lithium and 7 hours in 30 degree weather and they have gone from 100% to 28%. I doubt they'll last until morning.
    UPDATE: STOPPED WORKING. Old batteries went from 100% to 28% to 44%? New batteries, Firmware Update, 5 bars, Unlimited service, two calls to Spypoint Support Team and one instant messaging conversation and still inoperable = going back for refund

      more or less same issue here. new duracell optimum aa's. I sent these types of batties with a crew to baffin island in winter to run garmin GPS's and they didn't die in 2 weeks of -30C solid temps out there, but barely lasted 2 days in 20C weather here in this trail cam.

    To add to my last comment, these cameras will eat lithium batteries up fast if you don't have 100% signal. 1 of my cameras had 90% signal and the Eveready AA lithium batteries lasted 4 weeks. I contacted Amazon and blamed them for selling fake Eveready batteries lol. $25 to $28 for 8 batteries and they only last 4 weeks? Not an economical way to run cameras so now im forced to use big external batteries. Im just not happy with Spy Point at all. Wow, 2 rants on 1 video comment section lol. Spy Point deserves it.

      I have 4 link dark, 3 link micros and 4 Flex cameras .....Never had any issues with any of my cameras, some of my link dark are 5 years old...All my cameras are used for security purposes indoors and out, in Canada. No battery issues either....Even with a weak signal 25% in the red I have no issues with batteries or receiving instant photos...

      There are fake Energizer batteries on Amazon...look at the labeling very carefully if you buy Energizer Lithium batteries....

      I can assure you that we had legit batteries and still had issues… no of this was a problem before their system crashed… you couldn’t access their website, or app and then a ton of problems!

      @@ethanguidry312 I mostly use Energizer Lithium. I have a few cameras on 12v battery hooked to a solar panel, they work great but they also don't get many photos at their locations. I wanted to buy the new Spypoint solar panel, 15,000mha but they are never in stock, thats a lot of juice for a cell cam....my other solar panels have built in Lithium storage of 2.5 mha which should last a long time but I just put one up last month so I can't say how well its working yet(Winghome) .....I have one linkdark and linkmicro with the built in solar panel and both have been working great over the last 5 and 1 year respectively...

      @@DirtNapBros Wow no kidding? That's email right? I clicked the chat box thingy online. then had to wait for like 30-40 minutes I think? Was for the Link-Micro-LTE-S (I had 2 of them from new not work for some reason) We went through all the whole firmware updates, yadda yadda then he finally was like... I can't fix it...we will send you a new one. I upgraded to the Flex and it's working great so far... knck on wood!

    Every time I see one of your videos the first thing I notice is you never say what kind of tech steps you have tried to get the cameras to work. You just complain and say you call them and they don't do anything for you. I have a feeling the cameras aren't the problem.

      Well… we have followed ever recommendation of spy point, swapped SD cards, sent cameras backs, updated software, swapped batteries, and more. These are junk. I wouldn’t normally say that.. but these do not seem to last more than half a season.

    I bought 2 spy point Flex M. One working. Second never worked out of the box. Used Spypoint Chat twice terrible service, did not solve transmission problem. In process of returning. Don’t buy Flex.

    It's awful when a company reaches the point where the employees are not associated with the product any more but just there for profit. Customer service has gone down across the board with many things. Obviously they made huge profits and are busy cruising on their yachts. Mine so far has been a battery eater!!!
