Does the app webview retains the cookies of the website? So that if the user logs in once he doesn't need to do it again the next time he launches the app?
Good question. The template shown in the video does not retain cookies. Based on your comment, I've created an UPDATED template that does save cookies. More info in the pinned comment.

Haven’t tried, but I’d guess it would. You may want to generate a fresh project then copy the two changed files (html and scss) over. That usually fixed blank screen issues with ionic. If it’s the website itself that’s blank, open the dev tools and look for an error.

Yes you can upload it to the play store assuming it obeys all the other rules. To ad ads you’d need to do a bit more work assuming your website doesn’t already have ads on it.

Yes, just do a local build to your phone and test it out first. That's what I do in the video, I never published that app specifically. Though I have published other apps using this method.

Yes it updates apps bypassing the App Store review process.

One could get this working using caching. I have an updated version of this that exposes caching options my paid program.

You'll have to write push notifications manually obviously. This is basically google chrome without the nav bar.
