It's kind of weird hearing how different KT sounds when you're used to his Hearthstone counterpart.
I love this voice far more - it's akin to ((Hell, I think it IS)) the original voice he had back in Warcraft III. I never liked how his WoW voice became in WotLK admittedly, so this voice was something I adored to hear again.
after Fenix they need to add the Darkness as a character
I had to check, and I think it's the same voice actor for both Hearthstone and HotS. It's just that the audio mix is done in a really different way for reasons I don't know. The only time Kel'thuzad was voiced by anyone else than Michael McConnohie was in Wrath, where he voiced The Lich King, so apparently they had someone else do Kel in order to not have them confused.
That has to be about the "darkness" jokes from wc3, Both the demon hunter and the dreadlord had quotes about darkness calling them on the phone.
I may be a bit late, but to explain why the audio mix here is different: As was mentioned in the documentary of KT, they wanted to recreate the same effect they had in Warcraft III, as the devs thought this was the most iconic form of Kel'Thuzad.
So many of these quotes perfectly hit my nostalgia spot mmmm the ancient evil, survives

I really like these videos, but if i can make a little suggestion. Can you please put timestamps in your listed order? It is sometimes hard to say which quote belongs to which action/reaction and sometimes it seems they are randomly recorded.

Volgarr Stoutshield same as Uther and Lich King. That's why they changed Kel'thuzad's voice in Wrath of the Lich King. But this is the OG Kel'thuzad.

Indeed, this is part of Warcraft 3's story. After having slain Kel'Thuzad in the Human campaign, Arthas is tasked with resurrecting him as a Lich so that he may summon Archimonde and usher in the Burning Legion's conquest. The urn of King Terenas is deemed the best choice of phylactery, having been magically enchanted. The king's ashes are scattered to the four winds and replaced with Kel'Thuzad's remains, until the necromancer can be brought back.
The Urn was protected by Uther , Arthas and Uther fight for the Urn
Uther was owning him until Arthas slashed his throat and killed him instantly , He opened the Urn , The ashes of his father getting out of it and showering on Arthas (this was the novel part)
