Hiya Folks! Twas the Nightmare before Winter Veil, when all through Maldraxxus,
Not a single undead was stirring, not even a ghoul.
The limbs were hung by the Necropolis with care,
In hope that Kel’thuzad would soon be there!
We wish you a Merry Christmas, er Winter Veil, err... whatever you’ll be celebrating!
And as always thank you for your support!
Merry Christmas and keep the content coming. It is always much appreciated.
*MINIONS, SERVANTS, SOLDIERS OF THE COLD DARK. OBEY THE CALL OF KEL'THUZAD*
YES !!!
YES, MASTER
I literally heard that for the first time last night facing kel thuzad in classic!
Kel thuzad really changed personalites from a calm and scheming master of manipulation to a petty vain shell of what used to be.
He became arrogant once he became immortal, well.. that's understandable tho
@@zsoltsiro1310 Power generally does that to people. Lol
He’s still calm and scheming and master of manipulation. Necrolord campaign and revendreth one shows that.
@Thiago Silva another person who doesn't want to look at the entire picture. A shame
I much prefer his WC3 appearances ever since I played it way back when but his charater's personality has diffidently slowly changed. Tho I sum it all up to more of voice actors being changed as well
Kel'T vs Kael'T, the showdown we've been waiting for since Warcraft III.
Sapphiron! I am so glad they added that small cameo, especially with the release of classic Naxxaramas not too long ago. I was kinda hoping him to be a raid boss or something but that is cool!
AZEROTH WAS MERELY A SETBACK.
I don't think kel'thuzad is with the jailer he is probably trying to save arthas
I’d like to believe that’s his motivations. He isn’t the type to just ally with the jailer for no reason.
“You’ve been a loyal friend KT. Look over my land, keep it tidy”
“I shall king Arthas, I shall”
True bro
I really do hope that's the case and not antagonism just for antagonist sake.
Honestly when he said he was trying to break a barrier in the Maw, that was my thoughts exactly. He doesn't give a damn about the Jailor. Just agreeing with his plans long enough to bust Arthas out of Torghast and return the King to his rightful place.
@@wdf70 arthas dies
I'm disappointed that Alexandros Mograine wasn't the one leading the charge on this one instead of Draka. Given that Kel'Thuzad was the one who turned Alexandros AND Darion in Death Knights. And I would have loved him to have some resolution in that regard as well.
thats fckn true dude
True, also I hope they find a way to get Uther involved somehow. For Uther and Mograine to meet, too.
The Problem with current blizz is that they don‘t know their own stories. Most good horde employees are gone. Now they only create mary sues who can oneshot any lore character
The icy winds of Northrend will CONSUME YOUR SOULS! so many WOTLK & WC3 vibes in this video
I bet the reason why the Jailor didnt want to have KT go down fighting was because he wanted him to live in order to set him free. Seems like he has been snooping around and finding more knowledge about the shadowlands. The jailer probably wanted him to do what he does best, summoning great entities of power, just like how KT did to Archimonde before.
I wish mr. bigglesworth returns in shadowlands
He does actually

The jailer will probably use him as a great weapon against us. lookinf forward to see what they will do.
Yikes, I have bad news for you then :(
No you aren’t 😬
He just lightbulb
Is Kelthuzad just another basic villain trying to seize power, or is he still loyal to Arthas?... I'd prefer the latter, but knowing Blizzard it's the former.
Would love to see if all of this was so Kelthuzad could save Arthas from the Maw, making him the realist homie ever.
@@lostcrusader8053 probably isn’t. If there’s anything I’ve learned it’s that what people speculate about future events doesn’t happen. A few people used to say N’Zoth was going to win or leave the planet or anything except die after being freed. And here we are.
@@sudowoodo9579 D: Oh man that N'Zoth death scene was unfulfilling. A giant Old God so big that to take it out of the world damages the world (hence the imprisoning). Killing N'zoth had no lasting impact xD

'Here Kitty, Kitty!' - as a feral I felt that
God damn kel'thuzad is just a generic villain now. Honestly doesn't feel like a character and just a random "kill this guy" for quest npc. "Ho ho ho I'm so evil let me tell you how evil I am at every conceivable moment"
Kel'thuzad: "The Lich King chose you for his champion long before the Scourge even began."
King Terenas: "My son, the day you were born, the very forests of Lordaeron whispered the name 'Arthas'".
I'm calling it, now Blizz will say that the Jailer was the one that whispered it.
I Shall king arthas... I shal.. damn, with the music I get goosebumps
*has the player stunned in place*
After beign defeated 2 times from the same player, instead of istant killing him, “take him in a cell!”
WC3 remaster was so lazy they forgot to include the retcon
Well I for one am glad that these dirty retcons weren't allowed to soil the superior story of W3
Holy crap everyone was written so much better back in warcraft 3. Now kelthuzad is some goofy cartoon
Better acting and writing too. Everyone sounded more natural in WC3, and they somehow became Shakespearean in WoW. Also Kel'Thuzad's voice actor in WC3 was amazing.
Kel'thuzad
Y'know I almost feel bad for Kel'thuzad, but I also have to admire him. He's definitely a B-list villain, but he never gets that. He always thinks that his plans won't be undone by betrayal, or understands that he's just a pawn of a much more powerful being, or gets that that some group of random shmucks from the Horde or Alliance are just going to show up and kick his ass like they always do. He's persistent, if nothing else. He's like the Cobra Commander of World of Warcraft.
10:43 I mean you can't not enjoy the editing.. props to Athelarius...❤️❤️🤣
Naxxramas was merely a set back
Do not rejoice! Your victory is a hollow one, for I shall return with powers beyond your imagining!
That name, Sapphiron, one of the last remnants of Naxxaramas that made it to the Shadowlands.
WoW lore made an Anime is lit!
Anime part is from kelthuzad heroes of the storm event
Anime is for gays
Kel Thuzad is daddy material
Damn Kel'Thuzad isn't the same character anymore.
It makes no sense that kel'thuzad would not be instantly sent to rivendreth for all the sins he's commited
Top 10 villains
I thought Kel'Thuzad was bound to the lich king and Arthas
Yup he was, the modern writers don’t seem to care about established lore. It was quite clear previously that the lich king was meant to be a pawn of the burning legion and rebelled, and was possibly being influenced by an old god, and that scourge architecture was based on nerubian construction, now that’s basically all out the window
@@josephroseen7188 Not entirely, they just changed the real "master", who in the end was not a god but the Jailer.
And he was the one who created the Lich King to begin with so in a way Kel'Thuzad should be bounded to hin in some way too, like the master of my master or some crap like that.
@@youknowwho257 He was not the one to create the Lich King to begin with, that is just something they retconed for Shadowlands lore. The Lich King was originally an orc, Ner'zhul, who's body was shattered and soul was tortured by Kil'Jaeden after he fled from him in Outland/Draenor (in the original timeline). Ner'zhul was then bound to the armor, which was created by the Dreadlords on Kil'Jaeden's orders. Everything about the Lich King's creation led back to the Legion. He was tossed onto Azeroth to weaken its nations and assist in the invasion of the Burning Legion. That was his purpose - And if it all had succeeded, he'd most likely been picked up and tossed onto another world to start all over again. He was a classic tool of the Burning Legion, but one they underestimated a lot.
Joseph Roseen is correct, Ner'zhul once again rebelled as the Lich King, and defied Kil'jaeden and Archimonde's orders and instead of assisting the Burning Legion, he helped to sabotage them. It was thanks to Arthas that Illidan found the Skull of Guldan, since the Lich King had him tell Illidan about it in WC3. This was a big part of helping the forces of Azeroth to fight the Legion. Illidan is also later commanded by Kil'jaeden to return to Azeroth and destroy the Lich King because of his defiance, but he failed.
Today, Blizzard has retconed a lot: They made Frostmourne into a creation of that silly runecrafter in Thorgast, and now appearantly claim that the Jailor was the true master behind the Lich King all along. It's stupid. The Lich King was a design of the Burning Legion, so was the armor, the Helm and Frostmourne.
This is why I don't think I'll be too invested in video game lore anymore, because all of a sudden it may be subject of retcon. Disgusting and lazy by the writers.
Someone always has the Legendary Cloak as transmog^ I wish we could see its visual proc though.
I still respect him , undeads always had more loyalty toward livings which is enough for me to be one of them, Kel'thuzad what a great a wiser and great servant.
Somehow Kel'thuzad returned.
First Blizzard kills all the lore characters, and then they show up to the funeral with shovels.
the new lore puts the old lore into a new light making me question if things where always a lie or half truth. To me that means that the people making the new lore have gone a fantastic job so far.
I never imagined Kel'thuzad to be so arrogant based on W3. I don't know the full lore, but was the destruction of the Lich King/Helm of Dominance's loosened his emotion? He acts like a classic villain in this expansion.
The voice acting made him seem like an arrogant. But dont forget he single handedly put maldraxxus into war without anyone knowing... well except his lackeys
10:45 not even K'T knew
I think Kel'Thuzad was trying to find Arthas's soul
Nice medievil reference with the hand part
where did that animation come from in the beginning of this video? would love to watch more of that.
It is from the heroes of the storm hero trailer :) ruclips.net/video/7sPd6WlNpGo/видео.html
Is there an anime with Kel'thuzad @ the beggining ov this video???
10:45 Nothing wrong there. He said the dreadlords are agents of the burning legion, and the burning legion created Ner'Zhul, the orc who was Gul'dan's boss that betrayed the Legion and paid for it with his soul being trapped in the helmet or the armor of the Lich King, he is the Lich King, not the Jailer.
Maybe the Helmet of domination empowered Ner'Zhul, and maybe it was the jailer who controled Ner'Zhul and made all the scourge plans on Azeroth, but I doubt the latter. All will be revealed in Shadowlands I hope.
Probably the dreadlords had infiltrated the legion, then made a deal with Kil'jaeden to torture Ner'zhul (Kil'jaeden the fiery lord of the burning legion just happened to find some ice in space, seriously?) and then used the helm and Frostmourne to collect souls for the Jailer. The dreadlords also offered to watch the LK for the legion but really for the jailer. Tichondrius says "Ner'zhul has ulterior motifs", which now Blizzard will probably use to claim that he wanted to betray both the legion and the dreadlords.
Probably they have no idea what they are doing
So uhh are we not gonna talk about goth daddy kael'thas....?
So ever since it was retconned that the Lich King was not of the Burning Legion's making (and therefore by extension of Sargeras power), but instead by the Jailer's power, how does this fit in with the fact that the Dreadlords were sent to oversee its success? Did they just lie to Kel'Thuzad about the Lich Kings origins? Did Sargeras just know the Jailer existed and was acting entirely opportunistically the entire time? Like: "huh if that guy is meddling with this world, might as well wait and see what he can achieve, before I send my demons in" ?
Why there are only souls of Azeroth in Shadowland? What about other worlds?
There are actually other worlds. Good example is the spirit bear in Ardenweald. She's from a world that was destroyed by the Legion.
may you please give me that NPC name please? and by the way, if there are souls of other worlds, why they are so rare? why they are not in the main storylines or in a position of power?
Droman Aliothe is the name I believe. As for why you don't see more, that's one for blizzard to answer.
The two characters you help in Ardenweald, one of them being ex-Night Warrior, are of a different world. I forgot their names, but that's another example for you.
Also, basically every Kyrian but Uther. None of them are one of the characters we know from Azeroth.
Additionally, Accuser also used to be a mortal, most likely of different world as well. It's just not mentioned as much since we don't know those characters pre-Shadowlands
@@Najemniczkas But they all are Azeroth species and only the add a " from another world" in their dialogue script. Zero innovation and imagination from the Blizzard team in this matter.
I think Jailer doesn't need burning legion, or it's services, because demons themselves consume would of others. Still they kill and most would go to Mawens.
Kel'thuzad! The defiler of the Sunwell! At last I'll claim Justice for Silvermoon!

strange how one of the OG characters, from a intellectual necromancer he has been turned in into some boring and annoying power hungry weakling in the shadowlands.
We literally were able to kill an old god AND destroy the Black empire in LFR in the last expansion. Blizzard hasn't been able to write a good villian since Wrath. Let's not act surprised here.
