Thanks Lydia!!! So many times I’ll grab things at the store and I’ll walk around and end up taking them out of my basket😂. I think my shopping brain needs a good 15 minute pause before I actually purchase something. I know that exhaustion and lack of self care are my 2 biggest triggers. Especially lack of self care. If I find myself randomly shopping online and adding stuff to the cart, I stop and ask myself what I need to do for myself today (no-cost self care activities). Do I need a walk…a shower…a big drink of water…a meal…a bubble bath…a nap? That usually does the trick and stops the online shopping in its tracks.

Yes! I have noticed my Subscribe & Save from Amazon was getting out of hand. Took me 15 minutes to go over the items and figure out which ones we really don't need anymore.

Love this video! I’ve had a rough few weeks and am hanging on by the grace of God. I really like the suggestion to write down what you didnt purchase. I love watching people on RUclips react to movies.Yesterday, I had watched several viewers react to Groundhog Day. I realized how much I really love the character Ned Ryerson. I looked up “Ned Ryerson Magnet” on different websites but couldn’t find anything. I came thisclose to buying a Ned Ryerson t-shirt on eBay. I snapped out of it just in time! I dont need a top with Ned’s picture on it and the word “Bing!” Over his head. Can you imagine? But at the time it felt like it would help me to feel better.

Thank you, Lydia. I agree on ppl not always having your best interest in mind, it’s been tough because I’ve had to stop watching som channel’s because all of a sudden they have a sponsor every video. No fun! I also agree on putting it in your cart and waiting because I’ve changed my mind before and didn’t buy the items.

I had to laugh and be sad at the same time over don't do anything major in these 6 situations. A few weeks ago a death in my household shook my world in every way possible. AND with that loss went 60% of the income. I had to make big decisions and quickly. It's still a work in progress. I am practicing no spend Oct and Nov. Thanks for video. Looking forward to the next.
