【066】Beginner's Slap Bass Guide Inspired by Victor Wooten

In this video, I've simplified a slap phrase from Victor Wooten's instructional video and turned it into an exercise. Among the challenging phrases in the hour-long instructional video, I've extracted the one that seems most approachable.
Many people find Victor Wooten's techniques too difficult and don't know how to practice them. So this time, we'll focus on a 4-bar bassline, slap bass, and thumb up-down technique.
Structure:
LEVEL 1: Understand the chord progression.
LEVEL 2: Play the basic slap bassline with minimal notes.
LEVEL 3: Add some sixteenth notes to the bassline.
LEVEL 4: Incorporate the thumb up-down slap technique.
LEVEL 5: Combine all elements from levels 1 to 4.
The latter part of the video includes tablature, so be sure to use it as a reference.
