the music just jumps up and smacks you...you couldn't deny the greatness of Jimmy for any reason. Just listen to the "realness" he makes this style of music very appealing, the other guy is good too....smile ;-) Now he should be playing concerts not clubs.
They play with a full respect to each other. Respect from us, (the lazy listeners. :) ) Great video! Respect for posting this splendid piece of real art. Thanks a lot, Daniel van Eek!
+stringbenderbb well, nothing that encouraging i'm afraid. his website says he'll be making progress in his career and life (update from 2014) and since then nothing. I just hope he's clean and doinng what he does best.
Jimmy was first shown on a Channel 4 TV program called the "Legacy of Django when he was 8/9 and was startling then. That must be very old film . Two great players.
Why is this recorder in a tiny room and not in a proper studio? Just kick out Bieber and his auto-tune friends they don't need studios for their shit, these guys on the other hand... too good
This is before jimmy took a dive into a sea of heroin ,anyone who saw the documentary some years ago would know what he went through I only hope he's pulled through ,but from someone who's known what it can do to you it takes a lump out of you if you can kick ,
A lot of ups and downs in his personal life. Through the years. But he is on stage now and then, in these days. And also plays with family members. A big family i think, with a lot of cousins, many musicians.
No argument about musical capabilities. I'm not sure if I'd listen more than a few times? My head would hurt..lol Something gets lost if it sounds like a competition, for me anyway?
@@steveneidhardt3128 i don’t think it’s about competition…this is just two maestro’s ‘letting the beast go’…just because they can. Must be awesome to be able to play like that.
Lovely. Jimmy plays rhythm as well as anyone can. His lead is simply exquisite.
This recording/video series with Frank Vignola and Jimmy Rosenberg was my inspiration to learn how to play gypsy jazz/swing
Vignola is an amazingly versatile guitarist.
Jimmy Rosenberg - faster as light !!! Yeah !!
amazing how jimmy starting playing soo young and got to this amazing groove still when he was younger. suuuuper sweeet version of the jazz standard.
The best I've ever heard Jimmy play.
wow I cant even think that fast.
i reckon he plays from his heart more than head
I can't see that fast...
It's all about fretboard memorization. It's complicated
Jimmy, one of the best 👍👍👍
Real guys at real hard work.
Nothing but respect to both!
This has to be the most impressive thing I've ever seen on a guitar
jimmy s playing made me smile right in the middle of the night.. frank is awsome. terrific playing. damn good

+Allen C. The OTHER GUY,,,, just happens to be Frank Vignola!!! He's phenominal!!!
This is on repeat these days,..Jimmy is very good and fast , but i love the approach that Frank Vignola uses it sounds fabulous,...!!! Great stuff....
i got adrenaline from seeing this video.
They play with a full respect to each other.

I really hope for him that rumor is not true.. After all the shit he's been through and with all his talent and hard work, he deserves to be a king.
hello, lovely swinging people! enter "Jimmy Rosenberg in Sittard" in the search!
great!!!!
Watch it on double speed
Jimmy IS Swing !!!!!!!

Cool

Jimmy was first shown on a Channel 4 TV program called the "Legacy of Django when he was 8/9 and was startling then. That must be very old film . Two great players.
Super. Martin Schmidt-Hahn with his swing clarinet would fit, to be integrated !!
killer
How old is Jimmy here? He is fire!!!
high octane swing
By any chance do you have a URL/source for the full video (I remember this complete performance was up on RUclips and was then taken down). Thanks!
It sounds better played at 75% speed.
Czy gryfy maja chłodzenie wodne?

+Frunez The Nunez It's the hotel room where they're staying! They do this all the time!!!
how much for the pinky finger?
?
would love to see the tab for those solos! LOL
Plays like his fingers are on fire
.
Son!!!!!!
Am I wrong or Frank doesn't use downstrocke technique?
Frank uses lots of downstrokes. Big proponent
over the (speed) limit !
wowsuh
Seems slightly fastforwarded.
I seen that too, their head movement is bit too fast
but its not

Pause. Thats the differance
Don't you just hate it when a song drags? LOL.
Jeezus. I just burned all my guitars.
In your face Yngwie Malmsteen!!! Lol!
Chris Moltisanti if he shredded.
Whatever happened to this Jimmy
A lot of ups and downs in his personal life. Through the years.
But he is on stage now and then, in these days. And also plays with family members. A big family i think, with a lot of cousins, many musicians.
Fantastic solos. A bit manic in tempo, though ; ) Also the intro melody could be handled with more care before the solos break loose.

It’s sped up
🤣No, it is not.
Fabulous - but too fast.
You can tell that the video is sped up!
look up some more videos of jimmy Rosenberg, he just plays that fast
The guy was sped up. not the video.
These guys could give Django Reinhardt a ruun for his money.... EXCELENT
It's good guys , but it's a song not a race.? Sometimes the soul or heart of music gets lost in the competition, or maybe I'm just really jealous..lol
all this while chewing gum..
please mention a better guitar duo than this
Maybe Tommy Emmanuel and Joscho Stephan.

ces swings sont trop raides, et trop rapides , c'est plus de la musique , c'est du cross , ça manque de cool , mais c'est de la dextérité pure
