After an all nighter these legends of the guitar sit down at 9am for a jam. Jimmy, in the end, succumbed to drugs and was sequestered in a mental institution.
@@Marubi2 That's definitely true. I notice that whenever I try to play fast I tense up. Definitely gotta work on my technique. It's all in the wrist, not so much the arm
This video is PURE GOLD!! I've watched it many times and it still gives me goosebumps to hear Frank Vignola and Jimmy just jamming away in a NYC hotel room with only a couple of people around. MINDBLOWING!! Thank God for handheld cameras back in the 1990s and thanks for posting it!! :)
Vignola is great with Emmanuel but seeing him play with this guy makes me want to learn from his courses. He seems like a good teacher and seeing him go in like that is amazing. Jimmy is unmatched.
Феномен Джимми в том что чем быстрее ритм - тем лучше Джиммми играет Как настоящий цыган )))) Абсолютный феномен. Жаль что приключилась история с наркотиками и трагедия с младшим сыном
Superb jam. Frank is a brilliant player but Jimmy is just something else. His playing is on a totally different level to anyone else. Shame that his demons got the better of him.
great, but i like Jimmy also without drugs of high doses from then. it burns simply the brain out and makes agressive and you need to get a natural high from beeing part of music- it mostly will not work over decades because its stresses if you have to play always and i know a lot of musicians who prefer more or less drugconsumtion. Sad!- we all saw how difficult it was for Jimmy and many more of great artists! wish him the best! 🍀🍀🍀✌✌✌👍👍👍
Vignola wanted to end every song saying the last musical sentence, maybe to young and competitive, nothing to deal with music, It damages it all. Jimmy was great, and still he is forever. akind of inmortal music led by this people. Gypsy Jazz.
came for nuages, stayed till the end. no words. best jam in history
a man played a stack of books. That's when you know the music's good.
Aliens with guitars. 👏👏
A very rare moment in time. This recording and video should be kept very safely. It is treasure and words can not describe how brilliant it is.
The faster Jimmy plays, the more relaxed he looks.
So true. But then they say that don’t they; the faster you want to play the more relaxed you have to be

Superb jam. Frank is a brilliant player but Jimmy is just something else. His playing is on a totally different level to anyone else. Shame that his demons got the better of him.
