Joshco shines no matter what and Frank is a beast the do really sound good and the guy playing rhythm ad the mandolin player and the bass there all great
True words. But its not about beating nobody. Joscho too was nourished by MANY other musicians, Stochelo & Wonder for starters.... He didnt invented nothing new. Buy yet again i think is his touch with the right hand.... so magical, and he is really fast + tecnicall. Django was better, Hendrix was better.... but as i said before in my opinion its not about that.
Joshco is very good but he tends to show off and play way too many noodle-notes, and he doesn't lay back enough when he's playing rhythm. I prefer Frank Vignola's masterful rhythmic understanding, and his great melodic taste. You don't need 6 notes when 1 will do---- like the old saying "Less is more".
I was in the room when this was recorded. Wonderful times.
immense version.
i sware frank never shows off ever its refreshing
Joscho really shines thanks to Frank's wonderful playing
This is his brother Joshco

Also, I've been obsessively watching different versions of "Nuages" for weeks, and this Joscho fella has everyone beat- Django would be proud.

I think Frank ‘s solo is more melodic
Gjango would be proud
Wow look how young they both were here.
The improv from 2:28 to 2:48 is very nice. Judging from Mando guy's reaction, he thinks so too. :)
I saw the mando guy play in another video. he's got skills lol
WOW. Cool
Fantastic!
Awesome!!
Впервые услышал эту композицию у Френсиса Гойа в 1982 году...
Corecto
Wow! What year is this from?
Joschos vibrato has a certain cheese quotient. Nice how Frank swings it up
😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I was really hoping to hear that mando guy come in. What is he, like 17?
Guys wearing glasses playing off their arses.
