The knock-off figures are genuinely amazing. I've collected quite alot at this point, and they keep releasing new sets of unique and interesting figures. Theyre by far the best designed and best quality knock-off lego figures you can get
They're not 'knock-off's Scot! Those are original designs and prints, no matter what the frothing fanbois say. I've been merrily collecting them for about a year now. And I bet buying them left you enough change to buy food this week. (Factor or otherwise!) 😁 Love your work!
I think if you want to build a Napoleonic army for super cheap, get the knock offs, they have really good details and the weapons and uniforms look incredibly accurate
If you lads want to see a actually accurate Battle of Waterloo I suggest watching the 1970s film Waterloo it is free on youtube and definitely worth your time
Stars Nerdy corner part 14: Grapeshot, cannon ammo that shoots multiple smaller projectiles, is no joke. Grapeshot can destroy sections of lines. If you want a comparison, think of a upsized shotgun, pellets included.
Speaking of the napoleonic war I found a good napoleonic roblox game called fallen flag where instead of commanding one man you command your own line which os pretty fun
Very good qualiton actually.. I hadn't ever thought of that. I know it's not Napoleonic, but the Crimean Wars.. although the battle of Balaklava has to be one of my top gunpowder / musket era battles
I think my favourite war would be ww1,ww2 because there both so interesting and also I know them very well as in school me and my friends are constantly talking and theorising about ww2
I had to use bleach when i saw first 30 minutes of movie.. dont watch it its stupis napoleon got twisted to small mrn child and battles are innacurate and stupis like literaly there was scene with guy who had sniper rifle shooting napoleon ......thw guy who tols you wach it its either stupid or troll
@KaiserOfPrussia0910 he is wrong the movie is terrible if you know any of the history involved. It skips a ridiculous number of important events, as well as butchering the ones it does include. All the while spending close to 2/3 of the movie focused on horrifically written and repetitive scenes of napoleon and his wife hating each other
Though I will add the movie has some things going for it. It's cinematically beautiful, the uniforms are incredibly accurate as well as detailed, and honestly I enjoyed Joaquin Pheonix's performance (despite his age slightly interfering). I feel like it could have been good, but it was terribly written and directed in a way ignoring any and all historical context
Hey with the tents, if you want it to be accurate I would remove them as each army would of folded them up and stored them before the batte. Apart from that very good 💯
Even though some are not actual Lego they look surprisingly good with cool details and they keep making more but I have not found Napoleon or any famous character yet but even though there was no farm in the moc it looks better and there was actually a hill as Wellington hid his main force behind a hill to make them invulnerable to cannon fire but once the French took la haye sainte they brought a battery or few batteries of cannons to bombard the British and since they were closer they tore up the British squares but I do like this moc it’s just the cav that could be better since they have “knock off” cavalry minifigures like hussars and currassiers but I’m not sure if they have lancers even though polish lancers of the imperial guard were the ones who counter attacked the Scot’s grey
The Napoleon movie was a letdown. If anyone measures and tells me that Josephine gets more screen time than any cannons shown I’m pulling a “Robespierre-when-his-pistol-misfires”
Is it just me or is factor and hello fresh competing: anyway… nice Lego build and fun fact about Waterloo Gerhard Von Blucher was 72 at Waterloo and commanding a Prussian army: that’s like your grandfather leading the Grenadiers into battle during WW2

Yeah
They are "knock offs" because they are fake lego pieces. Quite litterally the definition of knock off

this is not a lego channel anymore, it’s a documentary about Scots descent into madness
