What an achievement for Ronan. There's a humbleness and decency about him that's great to see. Never a man to go with the flow or join the mob. Has a mind of his own. A rare thing in Ireland these days.
Merci !! En France, c'est exceptionnel. Et Ronan appartient à cette sorte de leaders exceptionnels. Nous avions Noah, Deschamps, Galthié et je découvre o'gara...
first and foremost a more than decent man, taking the time to have a few nice words for your opponents instead of taking all the deserved praise. A great win for La Rochelle and especially for ROG, this man has dpne something special.
Fair play from a Leinster fan. A well deserved win for La Rochelle, better than us defensively and offensively. At around the 75th min me and my dad joked about letting La Rochelle in, just so Leinster would have time to restart and maybe get one back. Might’ve been the right option looking back.
I've always been a admirer of Ronan. Anything he says comes deep from within. Every event good or bad can be drawn upon to give a frank ,honest answer not some varnished over vomit to please the mob and keep his face unblemished in the political correct world we live in. Anyone who played sport knows experience of failure is the great encyclopedia to be tapped into for future events on the hallowed ground.
Unbelievable ! La Rochelle and Lyon have just won the two European Cups and this weekend they must compete for a qualification for the final stages of the top 14.
@@shawk2832 ??? How could you interpret what I said as hating, I was just correcting misinformation. And yes there is little doubt he has made them a lot better.
La Rochelle deserved to win, with 2 tries to nil. But Ireland is a big winner too, with O'Gara and Donnacha Ryan the successful coaching team. Leinster were not permitted to get into a rhythm to score any tries, so credit to Les Corsaires.
Fair play ROG and LR... But Leinster were really poor. Just sickening to come away from that after not given their line a rip. Leinster really looked flat. But the quality of the second row is a real problem and so is the backup at ten. Too much kicking too... Jeez Wayne Barnes is a shocking ref. Can't believe the TMO wasn't brought it for LR's first try regarding a forward pass. But congrats to LR they deserved it on the day. They went and won it. Bravo...
Indeed the engine room has been Ireland’s weak spot since POC and DOC moved on and since Leinster did not replace Thorn and Hines. Today’s locks are good players with ball in hand but simply not big or strong enough. We have seen these many times over the last few years; until recently v England, v La Rochelle twice and before that v Saracens.
@@patrickmccutcheon9361 100% agree. Sometimes we have to believe our eyes and disregard the 90% of the Irish press. I was extremely worried about this albeit regarding the heat, scrum and ref. I wasn't expecting us to stay in the dressing room...
A real gentleman and fare play. From a Leinster fan. Munster fans are a bit of a let down doe. This is not a win for irish rugby lads and that's shat should matter to all irish rugby fans.
It's very much a win for the rest of Ireland outside of Leinster. I'm old enough to remember the last time we had a 'Leinster are Ireland' mentality - only back then (1970s and 1980s) it was a Leinster /Ulster domination - with the very occasional player being picked from Cork and Limerick generally ignored. The AIL revealed that for the insular nonsense that was. This might put a break on the same thing happening again.

Too rare
Je ne le connais pas mais je suis sûr qu'il est, potentiellement, un grand entraîneur.

Great mind.
Congratulations to La Rochelle and ROG you deserved it to win the final. And great respect to Leinster

First Leinster final I’ve missed but I’m delighted for this man. Top man, player and coach, as well as punter. Obviously had his team on the handicap.
❤️ 😂
Well done Ronan. Served our Crusaders in NZ so well and then continued on the winning ways!!!!
What a gent.
I'm a Leicester / Ireland fan, but secretly was hoping ROG would do it. Karma. What a top man!
La Rochelle are such a great team, Congrats La Rochelle🇿🇦
They have only gone and done it again lol
Well done oGara, absolutely delighted for him and donnacha Ryan, fellow MUNSTER men,
I'm honoured to watch this guy do what he does .......
Quel mec !! Une pointure.. un sorcier.. il est génial.. ❤
Merci Ronan,
Que ton oreille ne siffle plus si fort, désormais. Je te le souhaite !
Tu es un très bon manager, leader mais surtout un très bon mec.
Ronan O'Gara will be head coaching a national team somewhere soon.....would love him here in the U.S.
Thoroughly deserved the win. Better team. Looked threatening everytime they attacked.
ROG, is a quite brilliant coach.
Absolute legend 👏🏼
Well done .. from a Leinster fan
Gutted.. 🥲
but ROG done it ..
played to there strengths. Made life difficult for Leinster ..
Fair play lad......solid guy, savage player, seriously good coach
Never lost his cork accent 👏👏

The most animated I have ever seen him 🤣

Best coach in world rugby
Don’t think so. A good coach but not the best
A coach in the same class as Rassie
If he wins a World Cup one day then we can put him in the same class as Rassie
Hat's of to that man he has brought he has brought that teem on from rock bottom to this a couple of years like i said take your hat off
Not true. He only came in after they had already been competing at the top end of the Top 14.
Yeah La Rochelle were already doing very well before he arrived, but he perfected the teams level

England next for ROG
