    I shall now strive for my Ex to look like this beast.
    You have inspired me..
    After long, and vigorous searching to no avail.. I have found the golden egg..
    She looks absolutely beautiful!

    That is seriously one of the best 500R streetfighter jobs I've ever seen... I have an '06 ZX-6R 636 that I'm rebuilding after a year of owning it, and my lady is getting a 500R, and I'll probably pick up a 500R so I don't beat my 636 to death again, but I'm gonna do a streetfighter style with my 500R, just because the 500R is so ugly to begin with.

    The bottom fairing is factory and the sides are dirtbike radiator shrouds, though I'm not yet sure what they came from.

    It's a VAPOR digital speedo for dirt bikes.It's a great speedo with a backlight for the nigh riding and I got the dashboard for the turnsignal ligh, for neutral and high beam.Very easy to mount with aluminum thin brackets, only the wiring is not that easy but I had a friend doing it.

  • @agdmotors
    @agdmotors  12 лет назад

    @TheLajswim The paint is the most expensive on the bike - $900.White pearl for the body parts and triple stage candy orange metallic powder coat on the frame and wheels.Other than that $150 for a digital speedo, $100 for headlight and brackets,$40 for side fairings, $100 for custom levers,turn signals and mirrors and another $100 for welding and materials such as the aluminum plate where all the electronics are attached to/under the seat/ and the new details on the frame.

  • @agdmotors
    @agdmotors  13 лет назад

    @suicidebunnyz The stock rear fender has been removed and another aluminum platform has been added under the seat.All the electronics has been attached on the platform and hidden under the seat.I saw this idea on another ninja 500 streetfighter on youtube.

  • @DasPenguin85
    @DasPenguin85 13 лет назад

    @agdmotors Indeed it is a good bike, fun as hell too - most people consider it just a learner bike, but even people who have more advanced bikes, such as myself, enjoy the hell out of it.

  • @agdmotors
    @agdmotors  11 лет назад

    The best gauges for this bike is TrailTech Vapor with dash because they are sold separately.It gives you plenty information for the RPM's, speed, neutral light, low and high beam and has a backlight for night riding. Its' a dirt bike gauge but works perfect, easy to install and very compact. I paid $150 for it brand new. The wire tucking is not my idea I have to give the credit to "oldchevy4x4" wich is genious I think as well.

    Hi, they are stock. I remember there was a little missalighment there, but I did tight them really well and didn't have a problem. That was the only thing that was a little odd. I am sorry I totally forgot to mention that since I have changed 3 bikes after the ninja 500.

    They did fit fine after precise mesurement, but there was no more space for enything else, if I had a couple of more components to fit there I wouldn't be able to.

  • @agdmotors
    @agdmotors  11 лет назад

    I have removed all the wiring from the frame, then shaved all unnecessary brackets, then welded 2 pieces on the each side steel with the same profile and size as the frame to make the triangle look. All the wiring and components from the frame are laying on a aluminum plate under the seat now. You will need some precise measurement there because there is not much space :)

  • @agdmotors
    @agdmotors  12 лет назад

    Its a 35mm stock fork.The mounts are universal aluminum T-6, but they were too long so I had to modify them a bit - they were designed for a Harley Davidson type of headlight I think.

    I love everything about it man! I've got a few questions for you though: 1) the side fairings... AWESOME!!! Did you make them yourself? (they kind of look like something off a dirt bike... either way, when I streetfighter my ninja... I want to do that) 2) what head light / front fairing is that?

  • @sunnyahsan1

  • @kamalbel

    Thank you!

  • @agdmotors

    I took off the whole front end and sold it on e-bay.Than started mounting the new parts straight on the forks with brackets and everything.

  • @agdmotors

    universal headlight mount but I had to shorten them half the size.The fairings are from 2000 KX80 or 100 dirt bike - Kawi as well

    Thanks a lot dude! The handle bar clamps the mirror goes on..can you give a link to me of the item? I'm assuming with the handle bar clamp you can then fit any "universal" mirror like the koso on there. Thanks!

  • @agdmotors
    @agdmotors  12 лет назад

    The only thing I have noticed is that the bike didn't have a realy good handling on a strong winds and became very sensitive to them.I think because of the side panels and that the front end is a bit lighter, other than that is
    the same bike

  • @agdmotors
    @agdmotors  11 лет назад

    I didn't do any special mods. My goal was to keep it as stock as possible with the look of a custom bike. What I recommend is to strip the bike off and use your own imagination + some other ideas. Make some detailed pictures and notes to remember which part where is coming from, because putting it back together is not the easiest thing. Watch a lots of pictures of other stock bikes to see if you can use something to make it interesting. I would put a Ducati monster seat if I do it now :))

  • @Cyburai77
    @Cyburai77 11 лет назад

    Where did you get the plastics to go below the gas tank, or did you fabricate them?

  • @agdmotors
    @agdmotors  12 лет назад

    @TheLajswim I have sold the whole front end and rear side fairings on e-bay for $400, so basicly if I haven't painted the bike it Would've cost me almost nothing, but I've put a lots of work on it:)

  • @agdmotors
    @agdmotors  13 лет назад

    @konfutsi30 Nope, that is "KOSO -North America" they produce digital speedometers wich I got for my Ninja. but "VAPOR" are much better much easier to install and much cheaper.

    I just got a 500r with some street fighter mods too it. I was curious as to where u found the side and bottom fairings on the front. Right now the radiator is open and I would like a little coverage. Also what is the best way to strip down to the frame I would like mine blue.
