But they're not off-grid. They say that in the interview. That's the dream but not the reality. Also living off grid doesn't mean shunning all modern tech - they're not Amish, just alternitive living.
At about 3 minutes in they ask if he's been exposed to enough to know what hes interested in and he says "nah" before the mother cuts him off to tell him how many home school children they let him hang around with. Poor kids are going to have a rough adulthood, without the skills needed to navigate the world.
These parents might be loving and kind but they have decided against certains necessities that we don't particularly like but need to function in society like vaccines, school schedules, etc
They just seem like they can't be bothered to parent their kids properly in my opinion, kids need some guidance not none at all, they actually thrive from rules, routine and guidance from parents. They all seem happy so whatever works for them but to me it's bizarre lol
'Well done' to any parent who does their due-diligence and decides what seems best for their own children and family, rather than just going along with the pack. We all do our best, and no matter what we choose, there is no magic formula for raising perfect children. What an amazing thing for children to learn to hear their own inner voice and know themselves. Most of us struggle into adulthood before that might even occur to us! Imagine if we all got to pursue our strengths and passions, without having to feel like a failure at the things we have no interest in. I bet these kids have been exposed to more opportunities in their travels and experiences than most others. Bravo! This was a much kinder interview than the last one, which seemed to set them up, and felt more sensational.
Yes two parents who don’t work and leech off of society collecting welfare and food stamps raising kids who can’t read and piss on the floor. Well done
@@JMacTheFanatic Perhaps they wouldn't feel like the right decisions for you and for your family, so you should choose what seems best in your home. I prefer to support what seems like a happy well adjusted family, rather than criticize just because some of their decisions fall outside my comfort zone. The world needs more kindness :)
So many comments coming from fear of the unknown or lack of understanding how some families prefer to go against the grain. Some of you should try it, it’s so liberating! These children will grow up with the knowledge that their parents listened to them and catered to their individual needs. They will be able to have the freedom to make a life that suits them and not one that the government or anyone else wants them to live. Like the dad said in the previous interview, if the children want to experience school in the future then they can. It’s about treating your children as equal human beings with love, respect and freedom of choice. The home education community is growing exponentially in the UK, as people are seeing that this way of life is far better for mental and physical health of our children. Home educated children do succeed in life and in a professional capacity. They work in jobs that meet their interests and provide job satisfaction. I think people should be more open minded and research things before they comment negatively.
@@melitaharris228I don’t think anyone was saying that the children were refusing. They learn things by just living life. School isn’t the default in the uk but they don’t like to tell us that.
The way the lil boy just grinned 2:21 when she said ‘he cannot settle before 9 or 10pm’ 🙄😆 he’s like ‘yeah I got them right where I want them’
my only issue with the whole thing is..
if theyre so off-grid, theyd not want to be on tv. i mean.

I typed in “this morning feral” to find this video.
Marvellous. More ferals.
I just feel sorry for these children 🤷🏼♀️ For any child actually brought up in an extreme or weird bubble 😢
more when they live out of other peoples taxes... selfish parents and not a good future for kids

The kids are going to have no teeth by the time they're 25.

Agreed
They aren’t off grid they are living off the tax payer. Time to get a job.
Thankyou! Makes no f'ing sense
These kids are going to hate their parents
Every kid hates their parents at some stage of life, regardless of whether they've "done everything right" according to society's standards.
@@andread6245I never hated my parents. Not even as a teenager. Don't pretend like everyone is the same.

The little boy is much more subdued this time I wonder what they did

If the kids refuse to learn the basic education knowledge how are they going to go to school.
no one is reading all that 😂

Love this family.
so wise and loving.
Living naturally as God intended us to live.
God bless them all.
It's certainly not wise to not protect your children of potentially fatal infections.
I don't think they're religious...
Does the husband actually speak ?
