    I'm amazed at how well you work with your hands with such long nails. I feel crippled when my nails go past the end of my fingers.

      When mine grow out, almost that long I have to cut them off. Hard to type, work with my hands, I love the look, doesn't work for me. And mine grow fast, almost that long now.

    Very sweet! One thing I would add would be to file the end of the ear wires so they are smooth and not so sharp from the wire cutters. 💖🌷💍💎

      I use a round wire burr to round the tip to give it a more blunt tip. You Can Get It Battery Opperated,Rotary or Hand Worked. Also a tip flush cut straight saves you time and energy when using the tool Hope This Helps

    I am new to jewelry making and so I am wondering around RUclips and looking at peoples tutorials to see what seems doable for me at this stage. I wanted to tell you that in one of your videos - Captured Bead Earrings, you recommended Benecreat wire. Being new with this, I’ve tried a lot of different different kinds of wire you said you liked Benecreat wire because it seems more bendable than others. My order came in today of 18 and 20 gauge wire and I immediately went to try it on Crystal wire wrapped hearts that I’m making for friends for the holidays. I can’t believe how easy it is to work with this wire! Even 18 gauge is workable! Thank you so much - I can’t wait to try the earrings in your tutorial.

    Wow, first here! Adorable project. It would be a really fun project for a group to do, especially young girls in their teens. They could have a whole wardrobe of colors and finishes. It would make a great gift as a set of 6 colored pairs or something like that too! Thanks! You can also do the ear wires on dowels if you don’t have those special bail pliers.

    Very cute! Yes, I have the same problem! I lose 1 earring, because the ear wires are not only too far apart, but theres a bend at the base that makes the generic earwires slant forward too much... I always squeeze the 2 sides closer together, promising myself that later, I will get the pliers out and fix the slant. I usually forget about the last part though.

    Gorgeous and simple. I find the 20g is a little too large to go in my pierced ears, but that's the size I use for ear wires. May did to get my ear holes enlarged?

  • @indiagosnell
    @indiagosnell 4 года назад

    Quick question... When it comes to using wire, how do you know what brand to use? I have seen you use several types, but wondered while watching this video why you didn't use the soft flex wire. I was curious because it seemed like you really liked it. I have beadalon and Artistic wire. I also have several sizes and colors from a local store called Bead Boys and the type of wire I have is more similar to Beadalon. Let me know your thoughts. I really am curious. Love this simple design and your tutorials.😍

    I'm always a bit confused with wire. I love these.... This wire is round, right? I need to learn more. The half hard is usually called for in many tuts I've seen, but I've got the round on hand. This looks like would work for polymer clay beads, or wood too. Not sure. ???
