Very nice indeed. You had some tasty locations, especially the 4th clip showing the double-header. . . . . Alan

You must have been over the moon! It's a fantastic place when the weather is right - we used to live near there, at Mold.

Hi Alan. We went to the SSS2 in 2009 but only filmed from stations. This year, getting new locations in such splendid scenery and such fantastic locos made it a very enjoyable day. My favourite clip was probably Britannia at Garthydwr tender first but sounded superb. Regards Joseph

Hi Tommy. It was an excellent event but we dropped really lucky with the weather. This was the second time we have been to Llangollen and we are looking forward to the next. Regards Joseph

Thanks for watching and leaving a great comment. It had been a bad week weatherwise for this gala but luckily, we got the only decent day. It's lovely countryside and it''s a pleasure to film trains in it. There was a small charge at one of the locations but it was definitely worth it. Regards Joseph

Thanks for the comment. Me, Dad (Monopodmansdad) and Phil (981smithy) went together. Similar locations but not the same quality. Phil takes excellent footage and we hope to pick tips up from him. Regards Joseph

Excellent clips. I'm guessing that you and 981smithy were together as most of your clips appear to be similar. Dan

Have just watched your film, very enjoyable, knew all the locations, did you get charged by the farmer in the fields, he did back in 1994 but was worth a pound, the scenery you captured was nice, we always enjoyed LLangollen, we walked the length of the line many times, so will look out for more films, thanks
