    Before I was diagnosed with a tumor there where a lot of symptoms which I thought where just related to lack of sleep, exhaustion, stress and not eating properly.
    No headaches but i'd feel pressure on the back of my head in the mornings.
    Blurred vision.
    Left eye would twitch sometimes.
    Left arm and leg would tingle and go numb sometimes.
    Fingers would turn pale and tips go blue sometimes.
    Sometimes I'd lose my balance, feel like I'm swaying on a boat.
    I'd get dizzy sometimes.
    See flashes of light sometimes.
    I had tinnitus in both ears.
    I'd easily get irritated around loud noises and people.
    Sometimes but not always I'd have completely no memory of the previous day like if my boss asked me something about yesterday most times I could recall what happened and sometimes I had no memory of what I did or conversations I had.
    So for example things like this would happen, it could be a Thursday and my boss would ask me about something I completed on Wednesday, I can recall Monday and Tuesday clearly but Wednesday would be completely blank, I'd have no memory of even going to work that day.
    Most likely caused by a seizure in the evening but as I lived alone there was nobody to witness and tell me I had one.
    Things like that would happen.

    Hi how are you doing today?
    I am writing to you because my mother had a brain tumor and she lived two years after her surgery but her symptoms were pain on one side of her head & vision issues, seizure's. Then approximately a year before she died my mother went blind. Which was really hard for me to deal with, I took care of my mother for two years, & I had to become her power of attorney to be able to write checks and pay bills and make other decisions that had to be made such as funeral arrangements. Plus! Many other things I was 21 years old when my mother became sick & I was 23 years old when she died. Which was very difficult for me to deal with. I hope that you are doing well and I hope you are saved & know Jesus Christ as your savior? I have a feeling that you are an Indian or something close in relation to the native American? But I wish you well my friend. Ok? God bless you and your family have a wonderful day.

      Hi there! Thank you so very much for your well wishes, I am doing much better these days.
      I'm terribly sorry to hear about what your mother had to go through. That experience must have been very difficult on both of you. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
      My heritage is actually part English and and part Mexican (descendants from Native Americans). Good catch - most people don't realize I have more than just European in me.
      Anyways, I hope you are doing well and coping with the loss of your mother.

    . tingling on my cheeks
    . chest pain(like bad chest pain that lasted about 2 weeks
    . back pain
    . hives out of nowhere.
    . constant eye and eyebrow twitching

I have incredibly painful headache that lasts for 2 weeks in a month then go away, swollen tongue, pain in the ear and feeling tired the whole time like I was beaten so hard. Am afraid to ask for an MRI 😢😢😢😢

    • @robdelpal2118

      Hey! Thank you so much for your concern. Yeah, I've been pretty bad about posting updates (in my head, one is always coming soon) but have not forgotten about anyone seeking help. I do my very best to respond to every comment even if it does take me a few days to get back to people.
      A blood test could reveal some helpful information though any abnormal blood test could very well just show another symptom of something larger.
      I can certainly understand the fear of getting an MRI. My advice would be to think of it this way: whether you get an MRI or not, whatever it is that's causing your symptoms will still be there causing you pain. And if you're gonna have to deal with the little bugger either way - you might as well know what it is you're up against. Knowledge is power and in some situations, can literally mean the difference between life and death. I hope this advice is helpful and you get yourself looked at - you're worth it!

And I’m just worried ya know?

    • @robdelpal2118
      @robdelpal2118  6 лет назад +1

      Hey, that sounds pretty rough. I'd be worried too if I were you. I never got nauseous from my headaches (thankfully). To me, it sounds serious enough to go get checked out by a doctor. See if you can get a CT scan done to see what's going on inside your head.
      Ultimately, it's your body and you're the one who has to deal with the pain, I'd be careful about letting others dismiss your symptoms when they don't have to live with the headaches the way you do. Constant headaches are not normal. The best thing you can do for yourself is listen to your body and right now it's telling you that some is wrong. I hope you can see a doctor and get some answers.

    • @robdelpal2118
      @robdelpal2118  6 лет назад

      Since my surgery (which did not actually remove my tumor) I've undergone radiation therapy to try and stop the tumor from growing further. So far the results from that have been inconclusive but I should find out if it worked after my next MRI (to be scheduled within the next month or two). Hopefully the radiation was successful, I really don't want to undergo another surgery.

    Hi Rob, How are you doing? Sometime ago, I read a book written by a doctor who had brain tumors twice and according to him, once he changed his life style, he didnt had it afterward. Summary of his book was "Sugar feeds all types of cancers" (or tumors). So you have to literally starve/deprive body of any foods containing any sugars. i.e. no juices, no pop/softdrinks, no fruits like melons which are high in sugar/fructose etc, and even avoid starchy foods which convert into sugars fast (eg white flour, biscuits, potato, potato chips, rice, junk foods, fast foods etc). Hope this helps. Try it out if still having problem. Eating healthy and organic foods like vegetables etc, is the key to living disease-free long life. All the best wishes to you. Hey, Rob. Have you ever been hesitant to see a doctor because you didn't want to seem like you are complaining about something small? I've had similar symptoms for a while now but am hesitant to go to the doctor only to be given Tylenol and told to give it time. I know this sounds silly.

    • @robdelpal2118
      @robdelpal2118  6 лет назад +8

      Hey I completely understand how you feel. It's easy to dismiss our own experiences as something that isn't a big deal or as something others would just put up with. Remember though, the fact that you're concerned about the current status of your health is more than enough of a reason to go see a doctor. I think it's important we take our own concerns seriously and do what we can to put our mind at ease - even when that means seeing a doctor.
      As for a doctor prescribing Tylenol and calling it a day, I have a couple thoughts on that. First, be sure to try the typical home/over the counter remedies you think might be appropriate for your situation (I'm assuming you've done this already). And second, be prepared to advocate for yourself when you do see the doctor. It's important to emphasize to the doctor how long you have been experiencing your symptoms and that a drug prescription (which may or may not work) is an unsatisfactory solution to your issue. The bottom line is, you want to know WHY you're feeling the symptoms you've been going through in order to best treat the condition. Go ahead and let the doctor know you'd like a CT scan (MRIs are rarely [as far as I have heard] ordered as a first look at the brain) to rule out any abnormal growths or brain tumors in your head.
      Ultimately, the doctor is working for YOU. And if you don't like the way the doctor is treating you, there's absolutely noting wrong with seeing another doctor or getting a second opinion. Doctors are people and definitely make mistakes just like the rest of us.
      I hope this is helpful! Please go see the doctor; I didn't do that for myself and it nearly killed me (quite literally). You're worth it.

    i’m experiencing headache’s and a constant state of dizziness along with random unusual thoughts kinda like your’s

    • @robdelpal2118
      @robdelpal2118  6 лет назад

      Hey, I actually did have some dizziness but I don't think it was connected to my tumor. During the time I was seeing a chiropractor, I was also seeing a massage therapist. After one of my massage sessions, my neck muscles got really loosened up. Somehow that was connected to my sense of balance. So I would be walking down the street when all of a sudden I would begin to feel dizzy to the point where I couldn't walk. The dizziness eventually went away after about a month and like I said, I don't think it was connected to my brain tumor.
      How long has your dizziness and random unusual thoughts been happening for? Have you told any of your loved ones about your thoughts? It might be a good idea to let them know what you're going through so they are aware.

    ok so i had cancer about 4 years ago on my kidney and i did chemo for it for 6 months. i’m 16 now. and lately i’ve been having headaches, left side vision field loss, nauseous, imbalance when standing, and my speech is slurred sometimes, but rarely. i’m also tired all the time even if i drink coffee. and my headaches and pains don’t go away with basic medicine like Tylenol or aleve. should i be worried?

    • @robdelpal2118
      @robdelpal2118  5 лет назад

      It does sound like you have good reasons to be concerned for your heath. At the very least there's really no good reason why you should be experiencing the slurred speech - that on it's own is enough to make me concerned. It is entirely reasonable to see your doctor about your symptoms. Have you shared this with your parents and asked them to take you to see the doctor? You'd probably want to get some imaging done on your brain to be sure everything is alright.

    • @robdelpal2118
      @robdelpal2118  6 лет назад +1

      Yeah, at one point, my headaches would get much worse if I strained. They would greatly intensify and much more difficult to deal with if I strained it. I think you're certainly showing symptoms of something, it may be a brain tumor or it could be something else entirely. The results of your MRI will give you a much better idea of what's going on than I can from sitting behind my computer.
      I really wish you the best of luck and hope you get the answers you're looking for.

    • @robdelpal2118
      @robdelpal2118  6 лет назад +1

      Ah, ok. Generally, my headaches weren't very painful either, but they were constantly there. I couldn't get them to go away. From time to time, they would increase and feel much more like a migraine, but overall they were manageable (at their best, they were only a 2 or a 3 for me and at their worst, they were probably about a 7 or 8).
      I can certainly understand your stress and anxiety over this. It could be a sign of something very serious and you are rightfully concerned about your health.
      No, I never felt a burning sensation in my face. The tingles I felt were pretty much just tingles and nothing more. I never had any pain associated with them.
      Good luck with your MRI tomorrow; answers are on their way.

      I put up with my headaches for over a year and a half before I ended up in the ER to undergo emergency brain surgery. The headaches were only a symptom of what was really going on in my head. I would be especially concerned if you're getting headaches in the exact same spot on a consistent basis. That's similar to how mine were. I always got mine on the left side of my head which radiated from the base of my skull. How long have you been dealing with the headaches?

      My headaches were generally a dull pain. I don't remember much throbbing or anything particularly unique about them. When I first started getting them, they felt exactly like a typical headache I've experienced before. The difference for me was the fact that this new headache would not go away. The only time I experienced any relief from the headache was when I was asleep. Within seconds of waking up, I'd feel the pain again.
      I would definitely get yourself checked out by a doctor. I know how much it sucks to go through the headaches and it's not worth putting off the doctor visit. Hopefully you'll get some answers and can develop a plan to get better. You shouldn't have to live with those headaches for the rest of your life.

    • @robdelpal2118
      @robdelpal2118  7 лет назад +1

      When the headaches first started, they weren't very painful but they were enough for me to acknowledge the fact I was having a headache. The day my headaches began, I thought I could get rid of it by taking a nap (this usually worked for me). After my nap though, the headache was still there. From that point forward, my headaches were always present whenever I was awake. The only time I wouldn't feel the headache was when I was asleep. There were some points when the headache was more subtle and I could ignore it, but if I payed attention to how my head was feeling, the headache would still be present.
      Over time, the headaches would get worse. There were some days I couldn't even go to school because I was in so much pain and couldn't even get out of bed. Eventually, I started having numbness in my face but that wasn't as persistent as my headaches were. Not long after I started getting the numbness did I end up in the emergency room.
      I hope that helps. If you're going through something you know isn't normal, get yourself checked out by a doctor. It could save your life .

      Your headache sounds similar to mine in some ways but I never felt like something was moving in my head. That actually sounds really scary to go through.
      Yeah, 28 is young. I was diagnosed with my brain tumor at 31 but it was likely growing in my head since I was in my late teens or early 20s. Unfortunately, that's just the way it goes sometimes.
      My headaches would start from the time I woke up and continue until the moment I fell asleep. Once I fell asleep, I couldn't feel them anymore and they wouldn't wake me up (lucky for me). I only experienced them when I was awake.
      I have a video on my condition at the time I went into the hospital - check it out and let me know if you have any further questions. ruclips.net/video/II1yPUGx7G0/видео.html

      Hey, so sorry to hear you're going through those symptoms.
      Why do your doctor's think it's just anxiety? I think if I were in your shoes, I would ask the doctor for a CT scan. Even if it just rules a brain tumor out, that's a step in the right direction. Also, if your current doctor won't order a CT scan for you, there's nothing wrong with seeing another doctor who will. Not every doctor gets it right, it could be worth getting a second opinion. Remember, they work for you and should be taking your concerns seriously, not dismissing your symptoms as anxiety.

    I have a chronic head pain in the back of my head for over 2 months.
    It burns and it itches.
    I did a ct scan and an angiogram and they found nothing.
    I don’t trust the scans because an MRI shows small tumors.
    I think I will go back to the emergency.
    Did you have head pain like me or your pain was different?

      Yeah definitely go back and get a second opinion. My head pain was mostly a dull pain in the back of my head on the left side that just never seemed to go away. I never had any itching or burning associated with my pain.

      Rob delpal Thanks i will get a second opinion but I think for now I will have to stop thinking about it because if other symptoms don’t appear such as dizziness... then it’s something else because brain tumors with only headaches are not the only symptom. • @robdelpal2118
      @robdelpal2118  7 лет назад +1

      Thank you, I'm doing much better these days. For me, the numbness came and went. I maybe felt it for two or three hours before it finally went away. The tingling sensation left very gradually and I would slowly regain the feeling in my cheek. It was so slow that by the time it was back to normal, I had forgotten I even had an issue.
      What I think happened was the cyst (caused by the brain tumor) was so large that it began to block the circulation of fluid / blood flow in my head. This resulted in certain parts of my head to not receive enough blood (kinda like when your foot falls asleep) and caused the tingling / numbness I went through.

    • @shereehardin5783
      @shereehardin5783 7 лет назад

      I learned that was a partial seizure. A woman was told this by her doc. For her it went so far as to make her hand clench on its own. It tingled on her face too.

    • @robdelpal2118
      @robdelpal2118  7 лет назад

      That sounds miserable... I'm sorry you're going through that. Those headaches are definitely not normal and should be checked out by a doctor. If you see a doctor, encourage/push them to do a cat scan (doctors usually won't start with an MRI even though that'll give a much clearer picture of your brain).
      The one thing I regret about my headaches is not getting them investigated sooner. If I had gone in to get it checked out once I realized the headaches won't go away on their own, my tumor would have been smaller and easier to deal with. Not going to the see the doctor was my biggest mistake and it nearly killed me. Don't put yourself in the same position as I did.
      I'm doing much better these days, thank you for asking. I've had a total of two brain surgeries now and the headaches are gone. I'm now on hormone replacement therapy which, although annoying, it is a small price to pay for the much higher quality of life I have now.
      I hope you're able to see a doctor and get some answers to your condition.

      Mario- I'd suggest getting a MRI if your symptoms persist, an MRI is high resonance and can pick up "certain" abnormalities that a CT Scan can't. CT'S play their role for certain findings as also MRI'S do as well. I have two small white matter lesions that was found on MRI that CT scan didn't detect and I've had more than a few of those. MRA imagining is another that's used as well to see blood vessels. Having headaches, persistent dizziness and other neurological symptoms doesn't always imply a brain tumor, it could be just from anxiety, inner ear issue, vestibular disorder to a plethora of reasons. Hope you're feeling better.
