I respect that Darth Maul guy for not joining in the fight when Obi-Wan and Vader were dueling. I was 1v1 this guy, and then his teammate, started rampaging on me. I think Vader is enough to handle but when he is pared with someone like Kylo or Palpatine, it’s kinda hard to win.
I was protecting the clones as Obi-Wan and allowing them to board the ship in supremacy when Maul jumps over the debris. Looked cool, we start the 1v1. It was pretty even for about 20 secs until I gained the upper hand through a force push. Was about to finish it when Grevious rushes in from the side to parry the attack and then I get double teamed. Nothing more unsatisfying than being denied a clean win just cause the enemy don’t respect the rule.
David Nguyen exactly what I done. This game is a masterpiece if you look at it from a playing perspective. However, double hero spam is a major problem, always will be in every hero based game. It just it’s really hard in this as the duelling is so clean and efficient. The idea of beating someone rightfully and knowing you’re one hit from glory just to have it dashed by another player is horrific. Especially if it’s a match up which would make the fans cry tears of joy. Vader vs Luke, Obi Wan vs Maul, Rey vs Kylo (debatable).
I love how cinematic moment at 0:16 feels. Like they're swinging at eachother but then at this moment, it goes silent for a moment until Vader breaks the silence with WORTHLESS followed by an explosive clash with the sabers. This game has so many dope moments with the way characters talk to eachother mid fight
I remember fighting a Rey as Vader and I was cracking up she was just swinging her saber like a monkey trying to hit me but I just kept dodging her hits and eventually just killed her

Oh my god, why do people say respect the 1v1? The game says even heroes must work together too survive, they need to add private matches so people can 1v1 or people can do that in arcade with friends.
That’s how you can tell the good players between the sweats. Sweats or newbies will only try bomb rush you or jump you in a 2v1. I destroyed a toxic Anakin and Rey with count Dooku’s slick fencing.
I remember almost killing Kylo as Han. He underestimated me cause I had a blaster. Man kept tried to pull a Vader hallway scene on me which gave me time to continuously spam my abilities. I tried to keep my distance but due to the fact we were fighting in an inclosed hallway I was forced to keep rolling out of his saber swings everytime he got too close. My favorite part was how you could see him progressively getting more and more pissed off because how much of a slippery little shlt I was. Especially when I whittled down his health he started panicking and became more aggressive and ditched trying to hallway me (that's what you get for trying that crap lmao) I almost had him until I lost track of my surroundings and rolled myself into a corner. Either way it was fun af messing with him XD
My best game of swbf2 was a game of hero’s v villains ( the game mode where it’s a four v four with respawn ) where everyone was either 1 v 1 ing, or watching, and if someone interposed one clearly on purpose their teammates would let that kid be killed. This match lasted like 45 mins - hrs of respectful 1 v 1 or spectating people, I hope all of them are having a good day ( even though it’s 11:44 pm rn )
There are rumors of Battlefront 3 being developed. Hopefully EA listens to the fans. Add a dueling mode 1v1 lightsabers and blasters separate servers or mode. I hear Ahsoka may be added to the Battlefront 3. But it’s only a leaked rumor.

You actually can 1v1 offline now. It's not an official gamemode, so it will be a little scuffed. In instant action make it have only one enemy, and 4 enemy heroes. Set the battle points to high, and equip the bounty hunter star card. In instant action you have everything unlocked so don't worry if you don't have the card. Capture 2 command posts then kill the enemy infantry. You should be able to get a hero now. Now the enemy will always be a hero, and you get points at such a crazy rate. You can just get the hero half way down die do it again and should be able to play as a hero.
a played a couple of times with the Darth maul player(Jackdayjunior456) back in 2018/19, he is pretty good. Me and my friend would chat with him and send SW memes and we would have jams. Good old times...

Thank you, man! If it's about parrying, just have to time your attack the split second after your opponent hits your block, while still holding your block. Then you land a strike whilst taking no damage in return

Yeah, since you can only block from the front, after you block the first saber throw path you have to get out of the way, otherwise it'll hit you from behind on its return path!

If you play Hero Showdown, sometimes your lobby can start with you vs 1 other player, but if it fills up to 2v2, then it's really up to the players during the match to demonstrate that they want to duel 1v1. Sometimes people are about it, sometimes it doesn't work out!
I love how in battles with certain heros they have random lines while you duel it makes it much more immersive
Those are my favorite! As well as when your team have characters from the same era, like Han and Lando. Their voice like convo's are the best

Very similar playstyle to me, love the parries and the dodges (also not ability spamming like most bots) very good player and smart too
Obi Wan is such a good 1v1 character I love him. My main problem is trying to face Dooku with him cause he also has a high stamina and better damage.

Im good at dueling only thing im not to sure is if there is a certain way to block light saver throws? Do you block the first one then move
Yeah, since you can only block from the front, after you block the first saber throw path you have to get out of the way, otherwise it'll hit you from behind on its return path!
if you have your sensitivity up high enough you can actually block the saber on the way back too!
These were great duels, but I have to say that riposte’s don’t look nearly as cool as they feel to do.
