both of your fish are absolutely brilliant, you are very talented
Thank you so much Pam 🐾
I do original watercolors and tried Inktense. You MUST make sure all of the pigment is dissolved or it will lift up again when wetting other layers.
I usually apply all layers at once, then activate them. Having some additional pigment on the paper is not so big deal and if you apply moderate amount of pigment, then it's fine. I prefer to apply a lot of pigment. It gives me more flexibility and depth :)
@@NekoSimiColoring Thanks for the fast reply and info!
@@joykruczay Sure 🐾
How skilled are you? That quick white stroke in the eye would have caused me a nervous breakdown!!!
Oooh I understand that. I guess it's a practice :) Don't give up 🐾
Wow, absolutely stunning just like your first page. I am not a lover of Inktense at all. They were one of the first things I bought when I began using mixed mediums in journals and colouring books (about 8 years ago) - £36.00 for 12. I've used them twice and both times have ruined the piece of art I was doing at the time, plus once dry they looked dim and dull. I use my Neo IIs much more, and mostly for watercolour art work as opposed to colour books, but I have used them in Kerby's books quite a lot. Tfs xo
Oooh it's great that you color for 8 years, amazing! It takes some time to get along with them. I also had hard times using them first time and same with Neocolors. I like to use them together with regular pencils. I'm very glad you like both pages, thank you! ✨🐾
I really like both your fishes and want to thank you for the message you shared in your video. Please keep making such great videos, you have a real talent and a really good eye for colors :)
Aaw thanks! I'm happy you like the videos and even more happy if it helped 💖 🐾
Super video - I prefer Inktense as I seem to have more control and don’t have to add as many layers. I’m still gonna carry on trying with Neo Colour II”s, as practise makes you understand the product and ways of using them. I’d use Neo’s for backgrounds and Inktense for main image, or use watercolour palette as a base coat then use my Polys over the top. 2 brilliant videos and brilliant watching how you personally apply them to paper 🎉 cheers Ness xx
It's true that it took me more time to get along with Neocolors II. That's because they have their was to be used that is different from other mediums. Similar with watercolor/acrylic paint or various brands of colored pencils :)
New subscriber. Wow!!!!!!! Beautiful both!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks! Glad you like it and have a great day 🐾✨
Je préfère les inktense. Plus facile à travailler pour moi. Mais je vais essayer de nouveau les néocolor 2. Magnifiques travail. J’adore ❤
Yeah I understand that. Give Neocolors a try, they need more practice, but it's worthy. It took me some time to get along with them as well :)
I love your work!
Thanks a lot! 🐾
Nice picture
Thank you Dawn 🐾
What's the set?????
Wait, so Inktense are aquarell coloured pencil and not regular? I've been thinking of buying a set of inktense 12 but no I can't do water pencils :(
Well obviously both pages are very good :) Pretty much equally good.
Yes, Inktense are water-soluble (pencils and blocks - they're the same).
@@NekoSimiColoring and what is your dream set? Told you mine (a twelve of inktense even though I wouldn't know how to use it)
Oooh it's Lightfast set :) Well, I don't see it as an obstacle, if the only problem is that you don't know how to use it. Just give it a try, there are a lot of tutorials and videos showing how to use them :) (on my channel but on other channels as well). Don't let this stop you 🐾
wait wait wait
how do you preserve your colourings? How do I make them last for a while (not forever, but for a year or two)?
I have my own books of Kerby Rosanes and I use coloured pencils. When I close the book the pigment goes onto the other page (the other piece of sheet) :( Is there like a paint to make it stop?
You can place a sheet of paper between pages or you can use a fixative spray :) It will preserve pages from smudging and aging. Look for fixative spray made for dry media - pencils, pastels etc.
@@NekoSimiColoring i thought not watercolour pencils were already dry but thanks for the answer
@@chancia8990 Well, dry medium is in terms of not using water. For example soft pastels are dry medium, but you can easily smudge it. Fixative will create invisible protective film over the medium.
@@NekoSimiColoring yeah yeah thanks
what is this light blue paint at the beginning for?
Ooh that's a masking fluid. It repels water and paint/watercolor pencils. So I can use wet media more freely. What is covered is save from being marked with paint :)
@@NekoSimiColoring oh ok thanks
@@NekoSimiColoring but then you put an other layer afterwards where you used that liquid... did you take off the liquid?
Yes it's easy to remove it, no damage to the paper. I just somehow lost the footage, but it's shown in my other videos. For example on the blue fish/Medusa/Skull etc :)
@@NekoSimiColoring ok ok thanks O.O
