Hey guys, love the show! Wanted to comment about the state of offense right now.
With the way the first few games have gone, we had more offensive conversions during the line rotations early on, which seemed to show more defensive issues at the same time. Once we seemed to button up the defense, powerplay and even strength scoring has started to dry up or drop to lower than subsistence level scoring.
With how many young guys are here this year, undoubtedly we are going to see this more. You gotta let the kids improve, however it doesnt have to be in the big club.
I hope that we can move a player or two and pick up a good filler player that can help us transition and make zone entry either this year or next. With a nice in-their-prime player or two to bolster the capabilities that these kids are demonstrating, we may be able to push for the playoffs in a couple years, or at least just work through things together this year season.

Jay was the best exemplified thorough writer for the Philadelphia Flyers. Rest in peace. Flyers could use that as inspiration this month. Be thankful it wasn't a blowout opening month, too. Powerplay always has to be better.

I am not convinced Couts should be playing with Michkov I would go Frost in the middle and even change up the wings!

That Coots Michkov line had 12 points in a single game.

Frost is completely unwatchable. I’m hoping he’s off the team by Thanksgiving

Frost does show confidence issues on the ice, and has been turning the puck over too much, for sure. He has some good skills, but he isnt able to compete at the top level like a pro would, and thats really what the team needs now most of all.
If Frost doesnt draw interest in trade talks I would be very surprised. He hasnt been so bad that nobody is interested. Teams may see his issues as a problem with our current roster and his linemates, and the Flyers system that he is expected to play.

TK was a bad signing, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a good player. Tippett cap hit is manageable and I think he will come around. Farabee is a good 3rd line player but if you can get value for him trade him. Frost is not an NHL player. He doesn’t do anything well at this level

I would like to know how in the world was TK a bad signing? i will never understand that mindset, he will be in his prime for most of his contract, hes the soul of this team in terms of leadership, penalty kill and responsibility, and he is currently our best player offensively and no, im, not counting mich as our best because hes in his rookie year. so tell me exactly, why he was a bad signing? as for farabee, he hasnt looked great since the middle of last season, but I think his role may have been stolen from him in this org, he is not a 3rd line winger hes a second line winger who needs to play with some better players. and frost? he is absolutely an NHL player, i dont understand this narrative that frost is bad, hes clearly worked on his checking and defensive play tirelessly, he's looked poor to start the season, but so have most of our players, hes got a lot of skill and I am counting on him to put it together in the next ten games and start getting more points on the board. hes got 5 assists as of now which puts him on pace for about 40 points again, but I think once tippett gets going, so will frosty and he has the ability to put up 50-55 points on the season if he can put it together 20 goals, 30 assists is certainly not impossible, and if thats not good enough from him this year for you I dont know what is.

@GhostyHugs why , the answer its easy for me they' re in rebuild and the Return for Konecny that would be big , and the Flyers have good future on the Right Side with Michkov, Foerster and Tippett maybe Brink and SAMU Tuomalla and with His style of Play Its tough to Play like that very long time and he's not the big Too, we need bigger players, I like Konecny I hope I'm wrong but Will see, Let's go Flyers 🏒🤔🤷

@@guidovalenti4986 the return for konecny would have been a first plus a half decent prospect and some depth guy we don't need or maybe another pick like 3rd or 4th rnd. we NEED a player like TK, we would be getting rid of TK just to look for another player just like him. mich is great, but still developing and probably will be for the next couple of years, tippett is on the left with frost... foerester could be great but needs to develop. Samu has proven nothing at the NHL level yet and honestly needs to prove more in the AHL, and Brink has potential but so far has yet to prove he is a bonified top 6 winger. TK keeps some much needed skill on this team and it would've been foolish to trade him as it would have hindered the development of our younger guys. If u truly think the flyers would ever tank for a rebuild you are mistaken. right now as I see it, TK is our current only star player and getting rid of him would have spelled disaster in the org. we have guys who have the potential to breakout and become stars, but none of them have yet to hit the level TK is on.
