I love the way Mike talks to Edith with such love. He does that in several episodes. Mike is a great son-in-law even to Archie! In several episodes I've seen Mike do much concern and love when Archie was in trouble.😂😂😂❤❤❤
This is a amazing episode...they always took real life issues and made us laugh..if I remember correctly this episode won some type.of award Actors are talented and Norman Lear is brilliant and the best sitcom producer to this day
I love this whole episode. But the scene when Archie and Gloria, father and daughter having an ice cream soda and coffee together really touched my heart. It was beautiful.🎉🎉🎉❤😂
To my fellow lovers of All in the Family, this show was a British Comedy tv show in England called Till Death do us part and in the original UK one both characters were mean, judgemental, rude, blunt and judged the world around them , when Norman Lear produced the usa version they decided to make the wife nice and just the husband, racist, judgemental, politically conservative and i think it turned out to be even funnier than the UK version. As they were going over the scripts Edith raised her voice really high and came in "OH Archie" with squeaky hilarious voice and the producers loved it. Such amazing actors Carol O'Conner and Jean Stapelton and so gifted in other areas, Carol O'conner was a musician as well. I have not seen anyone even come close to the Late producer Norman Lear, the king of Sitcoms. He was so courageous to take topics and turn them into comedy without fear. He was so ahead of his time.
I'm watching this for the second time and I can't get over Edith's performance!!!!!
