Kurt Warner was, and always will be, my favorite NFL player. What he did to turn two teams that had struggled for years and take them both to the Super Bowl is nothing short of remarkable. I remember these two playoff games very well. I was so excited after the win over the Packers. Then the following week I was sad especially after he took the big hit. Tough way to end a brilliant career, but he deserved that trip to Canton.

If it wasn’t for the cheating Saints for their Bounty hits, the Cardinals may had one more shot at the Super Bowl that year. Both Warner and Favre got robbed.

@@boogitybear2283 is right, the Saints cheated their @sses off that year. When I watched those games lives, I kept screaming that Warner and Favre were getting hit ridiculously hard. "WHERE ARE THE FLAGS??" I kept screaming. Favre was close to taking them out but he decided to throw across his body toward the end of the game and cost the Vikings a shot at a long field goal.
