Some pt yawn ! What is that ?
YES! Neuro patients absolutely yawn quite a bit! Specifically, ischemic strokes impacting the brainstem do that moreso than others. But this is a complex neuropathology that isn't fully understood overall, and I don't really get it entirely either.
