I highly recommend this video. Thank you so much for this simple 4-minute video explaining confidence intervals. Your example was simple and clear, and you explanation was logical, coherent and straightforward. I tried several other sites to learn about this, including Khan Academy, and they were very confusing, and all over the place. Great job!
I liked the highly pedagogical way you use apples to visualize variation, sampling size, etc. This video was very helpful for me in order to understand confidence intervals. Thank you!

Thanks Danilo. I think many instructors use a mathematical approach, which doesn't fit well with the learners' way of understanding. I try to explain things in a conceptual way rather than mathematically. So glad it worked for you!
Thanks. I noticed that viewers were not interested in summaries - get in, tell it how it is and stop! In my more recent videos I do ask for likes and subs, as this is my source of income. Confidence intervals are really difficult to understand and I think people often get a wrong idea of what they are. But once you get it - it isn't that difficult.

It is true. It is sometimes “the tyranny of the expert” that when someone understands something they find it hard to remember what it was like not to understand. I found statistics really baffling when I learned it, and it is through teaching that I have increased my understanding.
Glad you liked it. It took a lot of understanding to be able to make it simple. I still remember being baffled by confidence intervals about 40 years ago.
