@TheMichiganInsider I really thought he was getting comfortable and stepping up to the challenge. I know a lot of us don't feel he has what it takes to play at this level. It would have been nice to see how he would have finished the game as the QB.
Ild have to say so going back when I started watching in the early 90s. I'm proud AF how they finished the season. Michigan has a brutal schedule...1st year HC ( future is with the right man)....the last 2 games makes me feel like this time ...last year

The biggest thing is that we didn’t have 12 of our starters! I mean we beat the 11th team in the country with our B team! Congrats to these boys for all their hard work. Go Blue!!

The MVP is/was Zvada, not just for this game but also for the season! Zvada is the ONLY person on the Michigan Football Team that we could rely on consistently from the beginning until the end of the season!!! Great pick up and I'm so happy he's coming back!!!
I agree. It’s an underrated quality. Admit it’s not exciting to witness but it’s clear that UM for some time now has had great control of situations regard down distance and clock management. Hats off to Moore. 1st year HC with a lot of adversity to sift thru. Looks like he’s already turned the corner. Side note: I see the same type of things with Campbell and lions with clock management and decision making. Their teams also execute even better when the cooker is hotter. Good stuff!!
We did as good as possible considering how limited our QB play was. Thought Jaydyn Davis would have gotten some time on the field, especially when Warren Davis went down. Great to see a lot of our young guys get time in this game.
Seriously. We were lucky AF bama stuck w Mildew. How do you not TRY to utilize the forward pass (to someone not on defense) which means bring Jayden out? That was one fugly O gameplan.
I could see JD transferring out, if he can’t beat out Davis Warren and Orgi….uh next year with Keene and Underwood, going to be tough. Although I know his father didn’t want him to play this year, wanted him to be developed a year.
Given the amount of transition on both the roster and coaching staff as well as the QB room and a slow start to the season, can't help but be more than satisfied with the season. Beating your rivals and closing with a win over Bama with your backups leaves me very excited for the future. Looking forward to the schedule next year, a B1G championship is definitely in play. At a minimum, they should make the playoff.

If I'm a Bama fan, I gotta feel like DeBoer is on the hot seat going into next year. This feels alot like Harsin at Auburn, Kelly at LSU and Napier at Florida. Coaches that just don't fit their team or know how to win at that level. Plus I gotta think Bama fans are also gonna hope that Milroe leaves! He doesn't fit DeBoer's offense which requires a potent passer, not a run-first QB. Sucks to be them! As a Michigan fan, my hope is that Lindsey comes in next year and at least gives us an average passing game to go along with a strong running game and elite defense, to take us back to the playoffs! Because it would be a shame to not capitalize off the end of this season with wins over OSU and Bama!!!

I agree on the Jayden Davis take. Felt like it was neglect and gutless. I said as much. I hope this offensive staff develops a killer instinct next year because I feel like it’s lacking a bit. Once they got up, they sat. This could have been much better but they started playing safe. They had it. Warren was doing very well. That back shoulder fade was AWESOME! When he went down.. Jayden should have been put in, supplemented by Orji if need be, but the QB was literally a wasted spot after Warren went down.

Unbelievable win for us. This was basically an early spring game to I.D. strengths and weaknesses. Weak: #1 - besides Warren's limited checkdown pass ability we apparently have no one on the current '24 roster that knows how to throw a forward pass to anyone not on the defense. Get Bryce ready for day one. #2 - tell Semaj Morgan the portal is open and calling. He benefitted from our NC caliber team around him and was clearly a fluke. Left to his own skill set his tiny stature, lack of shiftiness and inability to pick up any YAC, move on. #3 - dude.....who was calling that offensive gameplan? That was LloydCarr-esque as it gets. Strength - #1 defense is full of playmakers including key hole fillers where Mason and Kenneth once ruled and they are why we won this. #2 - RB coach and room is ready to roll.
They didn't have the depth this season on the defensive line like they had the previous 3 years. Now they have to replace Mason Graham, KG, and Josiah Stewart. They're going to need a few transfers.

No, Alabama is ranked 11th but in order for the 12 team playoff to occur, teams winning their Conference receive extra incentive. It’s not the best 12 in the tournament. The NCAA Basketball tournament doesn’t have the best 68 in the tournament either.
