So this makes me nervous. It doesn’t say what it costs to have/use API. It uses the word “subscription” by you never chose a subscription, or a model. So they’re just randomly going to take who-know-how-much money from you whenever they want? Their system is so murkily set up when it comes to payments.
nope, no subscription, it is usage based. you pay based on how many input and output tokens you have used. You can find their pricing on their website. (it is extremely cheap.)
Do we have to pay after a month after taking subscription?? And how much will it charge us ? $120 or only that amount that we have used?

I have had a credit of $18 and until 1st of May I've used only $1.90 ! And it showed it's Expired at 1st of May! Until yesterday I could use it but from today I couldn't! It's a shame they don't let people use this $18 credit! As I'm trying to test OpenAI API on my apps / using asp net core / and now it throws an error when I run my app / localhost / 500 error and message obviously unsufficient fund / no credit available! / . They should create a developer account separately obviously with a limited token request for testing purposes! Like Syncfusion GUI components! They have a free version!

I had been using the GPT Chat API with the Google Docs plugin very well for a couple of months, but now I get this message:
"Your OpenAI API free trial is expired or inactive. Setting up an OpenAI paid account should help accelerate the activation."
That API KEY wasn't free forever? How can I activate the use of the API again without having to pay?
Solución: Crear una nueva cuenta, ya que lo que se vence a los 3 meses es el toro de la API. Y para seguir usando el complemento en Google Docs, con la misma cuenta de correo. Hay que invitar a la persona a utilizar la API y darle derecho en propietario.
