As someone from france its really interesting after learning english to gear your story and learn from it. Marketing and information is important in any language and its brave to take that step and you did it so well nicely done!

What a remarkable story! Thank you for sharing! Your incisiveness, your clarity of thought of the direction you wanted to take your career, the opportunities you made for yourself and that seemingly came out of nowhere... I'm breathless :) I wish I had had a guide like you when I was younger and trying to make my way. Even though I'm out of the business world, I still enjoy this type of content- there are elements I can use in my real life. Thank you for continuing your channel.

Great, thanks Rosie! Good to know it's possible and what it looks like. If I ever make the leap, I'll know to come to you! and have some idea how to do it. All the best!

Thank you so much for the detailed information and it is indeed very helpful for a person like me who moved to france without learning the language and is finding it very difficult to land up on a job since 1 year and 10 months. Learning a new language and the motivation keeps getting low since forgetting the things we learn in the French. Will follow and motivate as there is no way turning back. Much appreciated for the motivation.

Super interesting. I’m in a very different place, figuratively and literally, but I am fascinated by the diversity of everyone’s career paths!

This is very interesting nuts and bolts video. I wish I had known these tips, say, fifty years ago. (Il faut préciser que je parle couramment le français, l'ayant appris très jeune. Donc, vivre en France, travailler en France aurait pu être une possibilité à l'époque, mais la vie s'est déroulée autrement.)
I have enjoyed your videos for several years but this one gives an insight into the more logical and plan-oriented side of your character and will no doubt benefit others. I hope you are riding out the COVID crisis with relative ease. At least in New Zealand, you have one of the best governments at dealing with it I am in the U.S.A. and, worse yet, in Florida.

I just want to thank you for all your content! I don’t know if it’s just me but sometimes as a female I can’t help but feel really intimidated when thinking about a move overseas. To see you and your success overseas is really inspiring especially in this new political climate with Covid where companies obviously are less likely to hire foreigners. I hope I get there someday. xx

@waiyi9, I think it's intimidating for many people. It was for me, but if it's your dream and you don't want to live with regrets of not moving abroad. Take a small step to make it happen!

I am an old guy who worked 22 years as an HR professional before working for consulting firms for the next 20 years. You are a remarkable person. Irrespective of the language and country questions, you possess the most important qualities to be successful anywhere in the corporate world. You know what you want, yet you are flexible. You are self confident yet you are humble. These are traits thet are difficult to recognize and hard to develop. You are a natural and there is no limit to what you can achieve.

I feel like we are similar in our stories...I have a HR degree also and want to make the move to France to do my Masters in International HR Management...it so enlightening to know there are opportunities to study in English although I am over 30 sadly so wouldn't be eligible for it to be funded the same way.
I just looked deeper into L'oreal's subsidiaries and they are really really impressive so Thank you for me thinking about a way I would have never thought of working for

I also have some background in cybersecurity :)

My spouse is working towards a mid-senior level IT position in France in the near future, and while I am blessed to have flexible employment I am very interested in going for a masters degree in France in Human Resources or a similar field (I am a healthcare organization account manager specializing in background check credentialing). Where might I find more information on possible integrated internship programs for those over 30? Fees aren’t a huge concern as education in France is so much less expensive that it would really even out.

I have a well-meaning piece of criticism and that is that the name of your company is not suitable. It comes across as lacking in elegance, as somewhat crass. I think you should change it to something more sophisticated and intelligent, well-constructed, you know?
