In the last 2 years, India has banned a lot of Chinese apps and the list includes very renowned names like TikTok, PUBG mobile, CamScanner, ShareIt, etc. And recently the government has imposed serious allegations of money laundering and tax evasion on Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo which are one of the biggest Chinese smartphone companies in the world. So is it only about the border tensions or is this ban more than that? Because at the end of the day India and China both are facing the consequences of the situation, so what is the catch? What is the second reason for India to do this? Is this just to answer border tensions between China and India? I guess we have to unfold the story, enjoy!!

umm, the problem is Chinese government didnt really ban those western companies. Instead told them to put their servers inside china for chinese users due government security concerns which those companies refused to comply with resulting in their banning. Apple agreed which is why china is the largest customers base for apple outside U.S.

I said fvck it I'm getting a samsung instead. Imagine paying 60k and still have bloatware... sony phones are known for their superb cameras but yea we're the unlucky lot to not have it in India 🫠

One factor to be added is chinese vendors are mostly taking very low profit from the 8-12 k segment , they would simply launch something gimmicky at 14 k and would take more margin . They have been waiting to do so and currently they are getting revenue from the adds on lower budget phone or are taking high margins from flagships.
Coming to micromax and lava they simply use to add their logo from the local phones imported from china so they anyways are not going to survive since the import duty is 100%

i am a neet aspirant before 11th class i used to scroll ig for 3-4 hrs a day ,but thankfully i overcome it by using a simple app timer of 3 minutes it was pretty easy to solve my ig addiction but i see ton of my mates are still hooked to reels and shorts result in them not able to sit through an entire lecture, according to my experience short form condition should be restricted by government like china. bhaiya aap apna opinion do short form content pe jese kya ise ban krna sahi hai? kya isse restrict krna chahiye? ya isse ese hi as it is choddena chahiye

Well, I'm using MI A3 and it's been 3 years now. No problem till date. After Coolpad 3 lite, it's probably the best phone I've used. In between, Motorola G5s took place, but for the bucks there was no such bang.
Currently, I'm looking for a phone which has to be under 6 inches. I also want good processor, camera and no IPS LCD. After using amoled, even FHD IPS display is pain to eyes. Till date, I found not a single phone that can match the criteria, apart from iphone.
Under 30k the best all rounder phone is Poco F4

I falled in love with Samsung A52s its camera quality is nice🤤 and three times my phone got dipped in water but guess what nothing happened 😌 ... thinking about if in this budget of 23k if realme or xiaomi got dipped in water they may be Ripped of🪦🗿😁...and note it has better camera same processor and ip rating in same budget of realme gt me.

China is the world's largest warehouse with it's advantage of size and scale it produces most electronic parts for cheap. I don't think banning anything is ever a solution especially when there are hardly any alternatives like after banning alibaba getting hold of electronic parts have become a real nightmare for us hobbyists.
Finally someone who realizes the problems us hobbyists have to face by the aliexpress ban. I dont even understand how aliexpress was affecting security of indians

India have many things but not only in tech sector in this scenario i support Chinese products because as a user and as a commerce student ,only Chinese phones vendors are able to sell low budget phones with good quality hardware but if you see micromax lava those companies sell phone not like up to the mark because those companies can't understand what is competition whatever I also supporter micromax lava but also as techy i understand what is good for consumers/users so for this reason i support Chinese products.

It is sad that Indian sector sucks in the smartphone industry.
I had never used an openly Chinese brand and had been using Samsung for the last 2 years. But let's face it, other brands suck, even Samsung sucks in the M segment, which was the reason I had to change my phone so quickly. The Samsung hardware is very bad.
And I am a person who just uses phone for basic stuff, camera and youtube. All I need is a good display and a decent processor that can handle professional workloads. I don't game and have heavily toned down on social media and still they suck
I purchased a redmi very recently and only because every other so called alternative sucked balls. Even I was ready to buy moto because of the stock Android experience and moto does weird things like not including sensord and basic apps.
We need Indian manufacturers to step their game and introduce alternatives, patriotism in capitalism only works when there is a free market, else it is one step away from communism
because other brands are not subsidized by C.CP to keep survive with such low profit marzin

I have been using LG g6 from October 2019. Almost 3 years. I have used a very few phones, Only 3 smart phones (but i have tested many other phone from all chinese company phone to somewhat samsung(not much idea about one ui 4) but I liked LG the most because of its clean UI. Many small features which need not muchh efforts but make life easy which chindi phones don't have

Would like to address some problem caused by Software update by Redmi,Poco,mi and interesting thing is those phone who's warrenty is expired are getting these kinda update and damaging phone's mainboard and these ppl are charging us 10-15k for replacement,I bought Poco F3 GT worth 27K INR in 2021
Last month I got an software update and then my phone got dead.i visited their service center and they told me to pay 14K for the replacement for mother board.
There are many users like this facing the looting of these brands.They are not ready to take responsibility of their own mistake in software.
I request everyone here reading this,don't buy any Xiaomi,Redmi,Poco phones.

I did change my phone from realme to samsung...and all of my family members have samsung phones...m20 m21 and m31 but they really did us dirty ..all of our phones have some or the other problem nd we all use our phones very carefully with all accessories..especially the motherboard issue of m31 has forced me into considering buying chinese brands which provide much better service..
