He does not blame his mother, he looks at the consequences of growing up as a child to a 17-year-old mother! My mother had no support from no one.I am a 52-year-old non-American woman,my mother gave birth to my older brother at the age of 18 and by the age of 23 was already a mother of 4. my father was a violent alcoholic, and she divorced, and it was right to do that. But to say that her pressure didn't affect us? That her words didn't hurt? I love my mother very much, that doesn't mean I don't have the right to understand why I'm the way i am. why I behaves certain ways, many of which are a direct result of how I grew up

Loved this video alfred! I can definitely relate. Didn't come from a great upbringing so I understand. I just pray that whoever God blesses me with can understand I'm still a work in progress and I understand it's okay to let someone love you.

I'm currently dating a Latin guy and we fail in love at first site--the Latin culture is beyond different from black culture- I get treated like a king by my boyfriend's family and I never got treated well by blacks---Latin people are low key the best type of people ever.

@@ryanlovings6013 Just speaking from my experience dealing with them- Latinos even saved me from black gang members when I was in high school, (1998) from there, the Latin community took me in, and I never went to back to blacks ever again.

@@ryanlovings6013 I watched a video the other day titled "MY DAD TRIED TO TAKE MY LIFE IN JAMAICA. I'M DONE!" and there was a guy talking about his family and describing a narcissistic cult like dynamic. There was a lot of black people in the comments with Jamaican parents describing the exact same dynamics with their parents. I'm not saying there is no narcissistic family dynamics in other cultures or races, but it does seem to be very prevalent, not just in Jamaican families, but in the black community. Of course there is also many good black families, I just mean it's seems to be more prevalent. I remember years ago studies come out(that have been pretty much all wiped from the internet at this point) saying how pathological narcissism was found to be more prevalent among African american men. They were much more likely to over-hype themselves as if it was a over compensation and arrogance for an inferiority complex. I guess it can be quite understandable considering they were made to feel inferior to white people at one time.
I just think although it's an understandable why many of them would have developed pathological narcissism as a defense mechanism, it doesn't explain why it's seems to be really common in Africa too. I think at some point black people have to stop blaiming white people for their problems and look inwards at what's going wrong in their communities that they have the highest rates of single mothers and even committing 55-60% of all murders in America, despite being only 13% of the population.
The bureau of justice statistics, national crime victimization survey, 2018 on interracial violence showed that 547,948 black on white crimes incidents were committed that year and 59,778 white on black crime committed. When ajusted for the population size per capita black on white violent crime is something like 4o something times more likely than white on black violent crime. When it comes to crime Statisically the most dangerous people when it come to black people is other black people. The rap and gang culture. The more black people deflect to blaming whites for everything with a victimhood mentality and taking no responsibility for their own issues, the more these issues inside their communities with their own people are not being addressed. They're too busy dwelling over the past to fix the here and now. It's those narcissism traits again, not being able to accept responsibility for anything and blaming everyone else for all your problems. It makes the problem worse not better.
A lot of the countries run by mostly black people in African are riddled with war, genocide and dehumanisation of it's citizens. A lot of the black women complain that the Jamacan men can be very abusive too. I even think of some of the black famous families and spouses throughout history where there has been very abusive, such as Marvin Gayes father murdering him, Joe Jackson, Ike Turner, OJ Simpson, Bill Cosby, Oprah Winfrey raped and left pregnant as a teenager by an uncle, Beyonce's dad having a secret love child. Plus all the degeneracy coming out about rapers and singers like R.kelly and P. diddy. Marvin Gayes dad and Oj Simpsons dad both like to dress up in womens clothes. Which kind of makes you wonder is there something about black people that makes them more prone to these traits and to violence?

Two men raising a child is no better than a single mother. The part that gays like to leave out is the toxicity of the relationship because it is not of God. You are leading that child astray by what you represent in front of them. Also, speak solely of yourself and your experience. Your feelings towards men creates a bias that deems you unqualified to criticize or critique women. Ppl should normalize focusing on self verses worrying about what the next person isn’t doing right. There is a such thing as the “spirit of homosexuality”. That spirit is most likely placed on you as a young child. Households of all sorts can be impacted by such spirit. It’s not solely based on single mothers. Parents who work a lot and aren’t present enough can impact a child negatively. I’m all for getting on here telling your story, but don’t target single mothers because of your specific upbringing. Also, understand that we as “people” have the ability to impact children negatively. In most cases you won’t even realize until the child is an adult and able to understand their trauma. A woman provides that nurturing, loving experience that all children need. A child being raised by two men does not have that. It doesn’t matter how flamboyant you are, you’re not a woman and don’t have the abilities that we have been blessed with. It sounds like you have unresolved feelings regarding your mom and upbringing which could play a role in your disconnection with women.

Stop blaming the parent that stayed. Yes they are flawed but what do you expect? So tired of the bashing of single mothers when they are the parents that stayed.

This is not about "blaming". This is constructive criticism. I'm sure that both his dad and mom have positive and negative qualities. I commend his single mom for staying (as he did in the video). However, this does not make her immune from all negative feedback. This does not make her perfect.

These are just my experiences and my truth. I understand but I can only speak about what I went through being raised by a single mom. Across the racial spectrum, single parent households are becoming an epidemic and I Want people to know they are heading down the wrong path.
