Probably got interested because of influence from parents, friends of parents, and peers who were exposed to a wide enough variety of music they he had a chance to choose something besides *HIS* normal radio station / video channel. My kids were a good example of that, although quite a bit older.
Hi! I just listen to the music my father likes and then I explore similar things on RUclips or Apple Music. After I try to play the songs on the drums. Also I am meeting some great prog musicians in person and learning many things from them.

I have most of the King Crimson albums, all of the Genesis (Gabriel/Hackett era), and all of Steve Hackett's solo albums, in my collection. He gave me the sticks he used that night and let me sit at his drumset! He is a great great person!
