It is heard that the dcm and cm are now planning to sponsore huge amount of cash to those people of uppersiang district who are already rich in wealth, so, that they can buy off the project affected areas from the actual owner of land that is the villager at much cheaper rate, and sanction or allow the project to start and in which the leaders will take credit from governmental benefit and the rich people of uppersiang will be given extra quota or will given in the central and state contract in the future... it's what they are planning....

Sufficient employment generation and revenue by constructing dam....😩..what a joke.....NEEPCO hydo project 600 MW, Rangganadi 405 MW ,NHPC hydro project ie., Subansiri 2000 MW and Dibang 2880 MW but local people employed is less than 1% and revenue generation are going some where else.... By seeing these existing hydo projects, our state should have been sufficient revenue and no one in our state should be poor, 100% employment to our local people but god knows....And yes, there are no such countries/states in the world where hundreds of hydro electric projects and thousands MW power generation have been commissioned or approved because of the environmental /ecological concern except our state.
