I cant wait to read the book. Bono, hardly gives interviews this was a great treat for a fan such as myself who has been there from the beginning. The only one I never got to warm up when touring but, I got many great ones so , I'll settle for the music . As the great Beethovan once said , don't only practice your art ,but force your way into its secrets, art deserves that , for it's knowledge can raise man to its divine. ❤

Some people have a problem with Bono, but he’s just an intelligent and talented Finglas lad who got off his arse and did something with his life; giving a whole lot of joy to a whole lot of people whilst doing it - what’s wrong with that ? My son goes to Edge’s old primary school in Malahide - they still have David Evans’s old desk there under the stairs. Probably be in a museum in 100 years 🖖

I was ripped away from the guys I was supposed to grow up with, all sent to Denmark, separated not to meet again - My revenge was my music, even though my career was smashed, and I had to wait 30+ years to get back .. once I got there I was hit by a stroke (blood clot in brain) and in 3 days I am turning 61 .. What a fight, most of the people I know never believed that I had a past of music and great possibilities in now legendary bands. I was full of anger, and had to be the best of who I am. Maybe in the next life 🙂
You’d think the masters wouldn’t have to worry about popularity. That they would always be hero’s. In ways of Legacy and also respect. Though as was said. The times are a changing. Cool thing is Legacy is timeless and infinite as is Bono. Wish he knew his expression lives on from every splendid moment of song.
