3 heads of garlic, peeled and sliced
1 onion, chopped

You can do the unions and garlic with a splash of water. When the m water is gone ad onother little splash. So this way is your delicious soup een more healtier
Love your cutting board. Love, love this soup. But I wonder if turnips could be substituted for the potatoes? Or half and half. Seems very high carb otherwise.
I make a very similar garlic soup but I use potatoes and parsnip. The earthy notes of parsnip really compliment the medicinal quality of the garlic, in my opinion. It's how I like it ^^ 💜
