I'm procrastinating productively by cleaning, painting, listening to this, and coding all while doing Pomodoro to perfect my timing 🤣🤣🤣 Just diagnosed with both this week so binging on information😍❤

Yo! We’re you adhd first and then through time for whatever reason found that something was a bit odd with the adhd?
Would that be the OCD creeping in?

NO SHADE-- But it would be great if someone could re-post with the sound cleaned up. I could do it myself semi-illegally and ask for forgiveness later but that seems a bit counterproductive given the topic is mental health. And definite gratitude to whoever documented, no sound shaming intended. Acoustics are unforgiving.

Whoever is crinkling that bag is making this excellent video mildly infuriating.

For some reason academics really seem to love crinkling a bag during a seminar

I think he failed to mention that many adhders are also perfectionists and can also just have an anxiety as a comorbidity.. and is not always ocd. adhders can become perfectionist because the ADHD is undiagnosed and it gives them alot of anixety and they feel they need to compensate for their lack of skills. So they think if they do everything perfectly.. people won't notice how unstable we really are. Just some food for thought. The video was very informative though!

The questions are motivations and causation. I wonder when to spot the loop

So having both could explain why I often feel a lot of contradictions in my head? I’ve always felt a duality of some sort, when it came to decision making, expressing on how I feel about things. For example I always notice details about things that other don’t see, I’m a perfectionist and I crave for things being complete but my adhd doesn’t let me follow through certain things because I get bored.

I've had little trouble getting effective treatment for OCD, but I've yet to receive any real treatment for ADHD. A bit of medication, but that's about it. The insurer didn't even cover any doctors that specialize in treating adults.
