      Hey Dylan, when I go higher with the ng it always starts to become a bit breathy. Do you know what to do against it? Thank you :)

    • @VocalCoachDylan
      @VocalCoachDylan  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Maria, sure what is happening is as you are in the higher register you are losing vocal focus. one way to fix this is to think more whinny puppy as you transistion into the higher register. another way it to start high and whinny so you don't reach as you go lower. if you know what twang is then that is another way to get the vocals to keep their focus in the high notes. If you are still struggling after this then I am happy to give you a free Skype lesson to help you. either way let me know how you do with these.@@mariavogel

    This is the crux of bel canto singing, i believe. From what I've read, at least. This gives me a TON of much needed clarity on this critical exercise. Thank you!!!!

    You're killing me 😂 you're absolutely hilarious. Besides that, a complete new world opens up to me. I never even expected there are different ways of humming. I was actually looking for exercises to resonate and stimulate my vagus nerve (complete different story) however I create sounds I never expected. Just by relaxing parts of my face. Who knows, in the end I turn out to have a pretty nice voice... I definitely check your other videos. Keep up this amazing work!

      Hi Adina, thank you for your kind comments! :) Looks like you learnt a powerful lesson there. The sound of your voice can be changed hugley just by tensions in the face, neck infact to much tension anywhere in your body will effect the sound of your voice.
      Good job
      have a great day
      Dyl :)
