Thank you, this is another well made production! The watches you bring in front of the camera can hide nothing with such crisp photography and skillful editing. Keep ´em coming.
Excellent, well-reasoned review. I have the Blue Lagoon version of the Samurai and have actually had a hard time matching the three different shades of blue to a rubber or NATO strap. In the end, it just went back on the OEM bracelet. I also have the standard SRP773 blue Turtle and annoyingly, the chapter ring is misaligned. Seiko continues to frustrate it's most loyal fans, I'm afraid.
Hi Marrin, i totally agree with you on the chapter ring issue which annoys me to no end as i owned the 6309 and found its dimensions perfect but when i bought the srp777, It just wore wrong somehow and the srp777 gets no wrist time. The same issue is also present on so many modern seiko 5 sports. They either do it with a huge face and track markings printed on or a wide chapter ring with a small face and blowing up the watch to 44/45mm case width. The lug to lug becomes a real issue for me as i have really small wrists and anything over 49mm looks ridiculous on myself. Many modern day Seiko really disproportionate compared to the classics. Anyways, i always enjoyed your reviews and keen eye for details. Please keep up the great work and i gladly await more content from your excellent point of view. Warmest regards, Kelvin
Love your vids, you are actually my favourite watch reviewer online, you are very knowledgeable of watches and id like to ask you a favour, id really like to get a nice diver that is around $500 USD. I have multiple sieko 5’s which i love but the 7s26 movement doesn’t quite do it for me id like to get something that runs smoother (8 beats a seccond rather than the 7S26 which is 6 beast per seccond) do you have any recommendations? Thank you for taking the time to read this. -Liam
If you want to use it as just a watch you will wear, yes it's better that way if you can source the parts. But in let's say 20-40 years lovers of then vintage Seiko Turtle look for this version, I think the original will be a lot more valuable than a franken mod someone made.
Yeah i think thats a very good point. Gd knows there will still be seiko obsessed watch nerds in 40 ears from now! And dont get me wrong I love the look of it dont get me wrong, its stunnning, but at this price there area lot of competitive options. Thanks for the response!
Thank you for watching and commenting!! I'll be making a giveaway of a GShock watch when I reach 10.000 subs, which should be in about 2-3 weeks so make sure to subscribe and follow the videos to see how to participate 👍
The Perfect Summer Watch!! Great Review, I wish they had the same one in a 40mm, maybe even 38mm case.... That would be a dream!

I agree with you. Dive watches look better when they have that depth on the chapter ring. It looks really cool when the lume reflects off the sides.

Thanks for the nice words and it's great to find out I am not the only one who dislikes this 😊👍
Great watch and review! Still a huge demand for this piece even though they're long sold out!
Thanks and the prices keep going up 😊
i'm liking the sto turtle series. most especially the black one
Is there any website that still sells this watch? Or the blue lagoon samurai?
I'm afraid you'll have to try with Southeast Asian sellers.
