That comment was in acknowledgment of her mother when Mindy Kaling asked her.. Stop spreading disinformation. She has been in the public eye for decades. She attended an HBCU and was a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. Photos of her father and paternal grandparents are easily available on Google. This is such a nonstory, the same way Trump spread birther lies about Obama. As a biracial woman, she is allowed to claim both parts of her racial identity.
Again… why do we care?! Her acknowledging that she is one heritage doesn’t take away from the other half she proudly proclaims as well

Kamala is not Black period! Her father was born in Jamaica but her father is half Irish and half Indian and her mother in Indian . Just because her father was born in Jamaica does not mean he’s black. You have white Jamaicans who are born in Jamaica .
And how black would she have to be for you to consider her black?
@@jeil5676 Black is a term that was defined in America that identified people who were the decedents of slaves in this country. Kamala is not a descendant of slaves from America period. She was born in America by two people who were here on temporary visas who are of the Indian and Irish culture. There are Indian people from India who are very dark in skin color and they don’t call themselves black. Black is term only used mostly in the America culture.
