is the wuxga native aspect ratio 16:9 widescreen than squarish"?im just looking right now is 16:9 aspect ratio on a wuxga am i right?im curious...before buying one
frank david 10,000:1 is Epson’s published contrast claim for the Powerlite 1985. The screen does not effect the projector's contrast ratio. However, if you are asking if the pictures were taken of the projector projecting onto a grey screen, then the answer is no, the photos were taken with the screen being a Stewart Studiotek 130, a white, 1.3 gain screen. -art
No. He's talking about the annoying grey screen that every Epson in the past projects.. Unlike a nice dlp that actually projects a black screen. I sold my 1960s because of the large visible grey area they projected. U could clearly see where the unit was projecting. Im still looking for a projector that looks like it's just projecting whatever it is u are projecting. Not the LARGe grey area around it. Make sense? I ramble. Sorry
+Erlend Neergaard 39 db is fairly loud for a home setup. But in a conference room it’s loud enough - sitting on a conference table that people will notice, and the speaker will have to speak a bit louder. But the important point is, they won’t have to be shouting over it. For perspective, 39 db, is 8-10 db louder than most home theater projectors, which need to be reasonably quiet. The Bottom line: at full power, talk over it. in Eco mode, at 31 db, it’s at home theater level noise, so no presenter will have to conciously speak louder at all. That’s because the fan will be audible but soft. Your refrigerator, when running makes more noise. -art
Hi Max! Short version. the 1980WU is 4400 lumens, the 1985WU is 4800. After that, the 1985 has wireless capabilities, including miracast for mirroring. Both have MHL on HDMI. There are probably some additional minor differences, but that should be the big ones. -art
So far we have had this about two weeks and have used it three times. I have to say we are really happy with the quality of the picture twitter.com/RamblingZone/status/950124021080715265
