Nice Video. What brand of receiver are you using with the TX16S (4in1 I asume)?

nice job :) I am building YAK55 with my own plan that is very close to yours. I have a question about placements of ESC, and battery. I could not saw in the video. Also, it could not seen on the maiden flight :) can you explain where we can put ESC and Battery? Thanks

Yes, at 14:10m you can see where I glue the ESC to the vertical fuselage just behind the landing gear. I then poke a hole diagonally through the middle of the plane and I put the battery on the top, right side of the plane. There is a good shot at 16:27

Great video thank you. I've recently buiit the Extra330 version, a very similar build. I used CA for the whole build but having watched the video, would use foam tack next time.
I'm very new to 3d, only had a couple of flights with my Eratix which I recently acquired. What's your thoughts on gyros, do you use one, are they necessary? I've put the radiolink BymeA on the Extra but having issues getting it to work with my TX16s radio on Elrs so would be useful to take it out if I don't need it.

This is totally personal preference. I am not currently running any gyros on my models but in the past I've used a Byme-A and a Lemon Stabilized Receiver with acceptable results. I feel better connected to the plane without the gyro.

This is how you make a build video, played in fast motion with separate narration

Is the 39 better than 32" to fly outdoors?..thanks

Just different since the 39" have an airfoil and more wight you can penetrate wind better which "can" at times make it more enjoyable for mid day wind etc. Though the 32" make it easier for smaller spaces out side. You have options :-)

I just bought the 32" Crack Yak, and watched your build. What size battery did you like for the 32" Yak? thanks

Sweet spot has always been 2s 450mah keep the C low like 20-25c and it will also keep it nice and light. For a 39” CY model we would recommend 3s 850mah

@@TwistedHobbysIncChannel 2S has plenty of power for the plane?

My apologies was thing 32” standard cy model. For the CY 39” we’d recommend 3s 850mah

@TwistedHobbysIncChannel yes, I was wondering what you would use on the CY32.
