Let me help yall out as someone who has had 7 chargers & 1 challenger two which were hellcats & also had a Camaro zl1 brand new. Nothing wrong with putting money down on cars IF the car is priced right & not marked up. I have 800+ fico scores across all 3 credit bureaus & i STILL put money down when i want my payments to be a certain amount after I've already gotten approved for the lowest rate possible & i want to only finance a certain amount. Now for people that don't have good/great credit alot of times they will ask you to put money down because the banks are only willing to finance a up to a certain amount.
I really didn't have to put any money Down,I I didn't have to put any money Down.but I did.and later on realize I F**K up cause dealership pocket that Money.Noo shiit
Nothing wrong with putting money down if it's going directly to the actual balance of the car that is already priced right not some high priced marked up price. Bought so many chargers & now 1 challenger i know the game inside out.
Is making $120 a day for Monday-Friday good enough for a scat even if it’s not wideboy but I also been thinking about getting an rt because it’s a bit cheaper and I’m only 17 and wanted to get it under my dads name
It could be but it also couldn’t be depending on how good u are at managing your money, but see how good your dad credit is and get the numbers first on the car then decide if u should get the scat or rt, even if you don’t get the scat now remember there’s always time to get one just be patient
@@UNKNOWN.294 I’d wait till you make a little more dawg. Don’t want to fall into a bad spot and go car broke. Even if u got a R/T at like 30k, that’s like 25% of ur income going into a car. That’s not even counting insurance (you real young so minimum 250+) and gas costs from daily driving a v8.
@@Fendikay oh ok cuz mine 720 and I’m tryna get an ss camaro within the next few months ,tryna get it for the first car in my own name. I agree with you on the down payment tho, I’d rather pay a higher note then giving away money to the dealership 🤦🏾♂️
@@snippyduda Since it’s your first car you might need a co-signer because of your credit history, since u never purchased a vehicle the banks won’t trust u with a car such high priced
@@Fendikay yea that’s what i been seein also , i mean i got some credit history cuz I’m 23 and have had multiple credit cards for years but just no auto loan on my credit. But yeah i probably would need a co-sign . I’ll see tho
U put 5k down which was a good thing who cares about the payments long as u can pay it . U got extra money to mod your car . Unlike me I’m putting 15k with co-signer I’m first time buyer. I might put 10k
A $1,000 a month for a vehicle is wild. But I was in the same boat when I was young. But take it from me. It ain’t worth. Save for a home and retirement. Social security won’t be a thing for us. People don’t think about that. Grind for 6-7years and then enjoy yourself but paying $80,000 with interest over 7yrs or whatever is so much wasted money

Does it help if I put 10k down
I wouldn’t put any down payment down tbh.. it doesn’t help as much as u think it does

With a co-signer with good credit see if u can put down 5k first
Put 5k because every 1000 only takes off 20 off your monthly payment
