Three Important Changes Rumored to Come to The Haunted Mansion

- Rumor has it that three important scenes will change when the regular Haunted Mansion reopens on 2025. Though we might get a glimpse of some of this changes during Haunted Mansion Holiday, we won't be able to know for sure until regular Haunted Mansion reopens on early 2025, with the inclusion of a new animatronic bride, a new attic window with projections, the removal of the hangman and the substitution of the animatronic hitchhiking ghosts in the mirrors for projections.

I don't mind the stretching room bats thing for the simple reason that it could give opportunities to improve on the special effects. The thunder strikes and then the windows break as a swarm of bats fly into the room in a split second and then it's pitch black and you hear the bat flapping in the room all around us with the little gusts of wind wooshing with them making us feel they are flying right next to our heads. Then the lights get back on and there is nothing in the room. If they make it like that, i'd honestly be cool with it 👍
There's been this consistent ride idea I had, that would combine the current version of the Bride, and of the original. Basically. It'd see the return of the Pop-up Ghosts, but their faces ressembles (albeit, more Corpse-like and decayed) Constance's Grooms, popping out of Hatboxes, shouting "I Do!" And the Bride Animatronic will have Constance's face, but move in a way similar to the original Beating heart bride, holding a bouquet of flowers on one hand, and stick on the other, but instead of a candle, its of course a Hatchet. Because it's not a lit candle, it'll be her eyes that glow. And similarl to The Overhaul at Tokyo Haunted Mansion for the Story Beyond event, Behind the Constance Animatronic, will be portraits of her grooms and her.
And I guess Hatty's just showing what exactly she does with the Heads, with his Hatbox shtick.
If you don't want to be reminded of your own mortality then maybe not go on a haunted house ride.
The hanging ghost host needs to stay! The Hitchhiking Ghosts should stay the way they are!
I'd prefer the original "corpse" looking bride return. But as long as she doesn't talk, I'll be happy.

With how long its been rumored that the hangman is going to be removed would hope it stays a rumor, especially if Constance stays. Bride I'm mixed on, would love Constance or Heart Beating Bride to be animatronic but if the story changes it would give more credit to the first rumor. Hitchhiking Ghost I hope its not true, have said it in other videos on the topic but think the original ones sell the idea of following you home more than the projection ones which give the feeling of one last bit of fun before you leave.

NO, NO, NO, NO... The only thing what i really thought is a good idea is about the bride! I love the beating heart bride, and i would love if they mashup the Original Bride with Constance, as the Tókio version of the Bride.
Like i really think about that this morning, they could change the candle for on Axe, but remove the portraits of the husbands beheaded? Noooo, please no!
The portraits of decapitated husbands create a direct connection to the Victorian era, where headless photos were taken just for fun. (A very famous example is the photo of a couple with the woman's head in the man's lap.)
About the Ghost Host Corpse, i would loved if the do the effect in a way that show the Ghost Host HANGING on the attic and in the same time we could see the bats flying.
But remove? only if it's really motivated by not triggering people who are thinking about suicide. But I think that's just a lazy excuse from Disney, the hanged man was there all these years...
But I think it's likely to happen, because in the 2023 film the Hanged Man was completely hidden! He even appears, but you don't see his corpse hanged, nor does his ghost have a rope tied around his neck.
And yes, i'm sad about this...
And PLEASE! THE HITCHINKING GHOSTS ONE, IS JUST RIDDICULOUS! I DON'T WANT THIS..
Leave the original effects alone, add some concept characters that never came to the Haunted Mansion! Like The Bat in the Cage. Bring that back! And maybe Changing Portraits that was Scrapped! That’s one of the Ideas that I would do. (Whether Religious or Not!)

I'm want to see when it's fully open after they passed the virtual first, i don't know yet, I just waited and see about it first and awesome video as well.
They are ruining stuff and changing it for the worst. I hate HM Holiday!!!

This really makes me irritated that Disney is going to soft on the Haunted Mansion.
I'm okay if they make my beloved Constance an animatronic but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE not that stupid 1980s department store mannequin-looking Emily they used to have that was just 'there' and didn't say/do anything interesting. With all the lore and merch surrounding Constance now so many people grew up with her they NEED to keep her story intact, just fix the character's appearance (and for God's sake how about actually making her look like Julia Lee?). Also give her the glowing heart timed to match the beating noise in the attic so even her haters will be happy they have a throwback to the original.
