I found Opus last weekend. I tested it on a video that I thought had some good stuff, but the video did not perform very well. Opus gave me a few really good shorts from that video. The first one that I published got more views and subscribers in two days than the original long form video in a month. So far I am very happy with Opus. Let's see how the next ones will do.

Thanks for the resource. I ws wondering if there was any way to include extra parts. EG the vid mentioned 3 points (my vid) and it only captured 2 so I need the 3rd in there but cant seem to see any way to do so.

Thanks for sharing! I'm wondering if this tool would be useful for the pet niche. Videos like tips, curiosities, pet food or recipes, do you think it would be useful for me? For now, I need to publish on Facebook and Instagram. I understand that long videos, most of them would be from RUclips or uploading a long video to get the good parts. Wouldn't there be problems on Facebook or Instagram if you upload videos like that?

I used my free minites ancouple of months ago butnrecently did my first "talking head" style video so I think i will subscribe and use it for those styles of videos
I got pretty good results with my talking head videos, and that was actually a while back. I think the AI is better now too

How do I replace the thumbnail? I just recorded two new videos, and both have black screens. So, when I post them, will people scrolling see a black video screen in my post? Also, let's say you don't like the thumbnail they selected; the same question, how do you replace the thumbnail? Overall, Opus Clip still has a long way to go with their customer service. The copyright is from whatever video you pulled from, so if you take a Joe Rogan interview, then he has the copyright to the clip. Just he also doesn't really care if people clip him. So its a balance I guess.

It has to be 9x16 as you said but it also has to be 60s or less. Anything else will be detected as a normal video and will be saved in the regular video tab.

Heyy! Do you know how can you change the language that opus is using for caption? For example it’s translating perfectly but I want in the original language that I know it’s possible because I have other videos that opus did captions to it in Portuguese

Sadly Opus is very buggy and pretty crap around 50% of the time, which means 50% of what you pay is going to waste
can you manually reframe clips in case the auto reframe isn’t where you want it??

Yes you can click and drag a clip now to reposition them manually
i haven’t watched rhe video yetxso idk if they already said rhis but uou can also change color of text, font, edit the captions, etc
so a lot of customization if yoy dont oike it

Senpai gaming here on YT is always talking about sizzlegg, I think he's a sponsor for them. From what I can tell it created shorts from your gaming videos, exactly what your asking for.

how can use this website free ?
I used Opusclips ,and it chooses to put my audience in the clip and I just want the focus to be on the speaker. The speaker is the focus in the video but it chooses to grab pick up videos of the audience, they don’t want to be in the clip, so I can’t use them. Also, there is no way to reject the videos it’s given me to start over, my credits have been used.

Opus Clip is great for podcasts, hit any modd for other stuff. Needs lots of talking to get the algorithm to work
