You are correct. Mostly they are the same. They all use more or less the same algoritms and procedures. The difference is more of of they integrate it, tools and UX design and what stock they have available. My guess is that some are better with cartoonish things and others are better with realistic things.
With a lot of the tools you can generator longer clips, and extend the ones you like. If you’re using images to generate from you’ll be able to keep shots similar while generating multiple clips too :) Justin.

AI Video Generator is such a broad term so I’ve tried to break this down into categories for each of the different types with my top picks for each, as people would likely be expecting different things based on that broadness. I have what may seem an odd question, I have an old video of a now deceased old friend doing a super rare concert outdoors. This was a last minute decision so at best the video quality is not good in many sections as he was all over the place on stage frequently moving out of frame as well as inconsiderate people walking in front of the camera at times. What I would like to do is recreate or shall I say drastically improve the quality of this video as well as improve the last minute of audio since the battery was dying on my now ancient camcorder so the last minute or so became a bit choppy yet the content remains good. Is there a product that can help me with this as a tribute to this guy, it was his last concert. Ironically he did hundreds of concerts but only two exist mine and a rather bad one done for PBS the latter by far not being his best work while this one is hysterical in places
The real big problem with this AI video generators is they only use stock footage.. I cant get the real footage that I want to use automatically.. for example if i want to talk about a movie tv show, these generators cant even pull the smallest little clip.. all i get is stock footage of fake actors.. this is a big burden

Working as an animator for the past twenty-five years, I can imagine a conversation with a client asking me, can you get the straw actually touching the camel's lips, and see it actually sucking. Just this kind of meaningful detail is what clients have come to expect. I think the AI software will improve - but I'm curious what will happen with this issue. I expect we will all become AI image and video retouchers!

The real big problem with this AI video generators is they only use stock footage.. I cant get the real footage that I want to use automatically.. for example if i want to talk about a movie tv show, these generators cant even pull the smallest little clip.. all i get is stock footage of fake actors.. this is a big burden

If it’s a clip from a movie then it’s not stock footage. Clips from a movie will be copyrighted so the Ai won’t try to use it.
